On a tough day, Obama escapes for a while

Your link was still inaccurate though. And after busting shiznit770's chops well your image has kinda suffered.
Well we can't all be perfect like you.

That Goobieman's link was outdated and inaccurate.

Why didn't you ask him what his point was? Selective much? You pointed to his post. I disputed it.

Please show us where you complained about Bush's vacation time and the image it put forth. Bush criticized congress last August for going on vacation.

You are bordering on a tantrum.

Please. This childish game of yours is tired. Give it up. I had no problem with the vacation, just as I had no problem with the school visit in itself. And I already stated it cost him in image. Thank you for proving my point.

Bush was right to critisize congresses timing. Irrelevant red herring btw.

You really need to win at the internets don't you?

Bush's modern day record of vacation time sets a bad image, especially during a time of war. You said if it was Bush you would call it out. Now it's a red herring?

Get your rant on.

Personal attack fail.

It's not that I need to win, its kinda like you just constantly lose.......

That thread IIRC was about congress going on vacation during the gas thing....

Don't be upset. My "winning" is natural. You are at a disadvantage.

From the OP of that thread :

Yesterday, President Bush criticized Congress for taking a “five-week vacation” without voting on offshore oil drilling, despite the fact that he spent this week at the Olympics (while Russia and Georgia went to war). Today, Dana Perino announced that after a “day or two” delay because of the war, Bush will spend two weeks at his ranch in Crawford, TX:

President Bush is scheduled to leave tomorrow for Crawford, but he is going to delay his departure for a day or two.

The thread seems to be about Bush going on vacation while criticizing Congress for doing the same thing. If you actually READ through the thread you'd see the members discussing Bush's vacation. Nothing to do with Congress really.

Meh, Bush is no longer president and that thread is like what 10 months old? Sorry I did not pay close attention to the red herring.....

But yeah sure, that was a bad image move, look you all are still talking about it.,

5 and a half months old.

Does this mean that Obama's promises from 8 months ago aren't relevant? ;)

Are you opening a fish market or something? You have a ton of lovely red herrings.

Hatuey, that was just rude. He used smileys. You aren't supposed to challenge him when he does that.

Why is it the more I am right about your savior the more trollish you become in your commentary. I don't really mind, it is just rather silly. It's not like we don't know each other here.

I am just curious as to why you take critisizm of the one so seriously.

Vacation is the wrong word to use since you really have no idea what he was doing while away from the white house. Golfing = valid criticism. Being at one of the presidential retreats <> valid criticism.

I won't disagree though, calling every day he was away from the white house "vacation" was certainly damaging to his image as is evident by most of you believing he was not doing his job whenever he was not in the white house.
