Bush was right to critisize congresses timing. Irrelevant red herring btw.

Bush's modern day record of vacation time sets a bad image, especially during a time of war. You said if it was Bush you would call it out. Now it's a red herring?

The thread seems to be about Bush going on vacation while criticizing Congress for doing the same thing. If you actually READ through the thread you'd see the members discussing Bush's vacation. Nothing to do with Congress really.

Vacation is the wrong word to use since you really have no idea what he was doing while away from the white house. Golfing = valid criticism. Being at one of the presidential retreats <> valid criticism.

I won't disagree though, calling every day he was away from the white house "vacation" was certainly damaging to his image as is evident by most of you believing he was not doing his job whenever he was not in the white house.
