Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is not proposing a new idea.
He attempted to organize a union such as this, between Lybia, Algeria, Morocco and I believe Egypy in the 1980s.
However the various Governments were not able to arrive at any consensus as to how such a union would be run.
I somehow doubt that the disparate Nations that comprise Africa would be any different.
But if such a union were to take place, would it be good for the rest of humanity.
