Nato wary of Russian treaty plan

No.. because I know its a technicality.. The UN security council didn't directly approve the Iraq war.. And to go to war against a sovereign state, such direct approval is necessary.
This is absolutely incorrect.

You need to read the UN charter. There's absolutely NO plenary requirement for a relevant UNSC resolution in order for a member state to go to war in accordance with said charter.

Never mind the blatant absurdity of the notion that the only 'legal' way to go to war is in accordance with the UN charter.

Thats exactly the same attitude which unleashed Russia and made future resolutions in the UN even mentioning war as a possibility on a billion conditions quite impossible.
