FLASH: Obama was just re-sworn in...

So don't question authority? It must be nice to have mindless minions to count on.

Oh, come on. It has nothing to do with questioning authority. If Obama hadn't gotten re-sworn in the right wing pundits would have been on about that crap for a long time. I don't blame him for getting re-sworn in.

So he's letting the opposition set his agenda? Doesn't bode well for when something truly controversial comes around.

I wonder if this thing was planned, to avoid taking the oath on the Bible?

No. Like I said, he was covering his bases. It may as well get done right. Keep trying, though.

I'm sure it was. Obviously Obama is a Godless Liberal and wanted to get it done without the Bible as a homage to all of his Atheist and Godless peeps out there. I'm also willing to bet that the Bible that they used on Inauguration Day burned his hand.

So then it must be true!
Since he's not exactly a poster child for bi-partisan opinion, I guess it must be. Besides, his opinion jives well with polling data on the subject. It also the reason why its the only news channel that is actually increasing market share. Unless of course that conservatives are now a large majority in the US.

Yes, and MSNBC doesn't lean to the left either.

Now you are making sense.

Well, considering that they were running stories on Fox News questioning whether or not Obama was our President because Roberts messed up the first time around I think it's good that they decided to cover all bases.

I take it you got this from actually watching Fox News and not from some slanted media watch dog group that are known for taking things out of context, misrepresenting things, or leaving information out?

Because they have Fox News on in my office's gym and while working out yesterday they did do a small piece on this during the news portion of things, including mentioning remarks by political scientists at different institutions. Both of the quotes from political scientists basically made it clear the notion that challenging him based on this would be idiotic, but could potentially happen. One of these peoples quotes, stated on Fox News, suggested that Obama should retake it for the exact same general reason you're saying here...so that extremists can't simply use it as further ammunition. They also acknowledged the fact it was Chief Justice Roberts who messed up the line, not Obama.

Damn that irresponsible slanted Fox News channel out to get Obama and make people think he's not really president, damn them to hell.

They ran a piece about it during Fox and Friends and Chris Wallace said it when they were running coverage of the Inauguration.

And come on, to deny Fox News is slanted to the right is to deny reality. They are slanted to the right just as much as MSNBC is slanted to the left. At least MSNBC admitted it the other day.

Matthews-Obermann have so much as admitted that they are Democrat minions.

I never said they weren't. At least they are somewhat honest about their bias. It's too bad Fox News can't do the same.

Oh definitely. I agree completely with you Southern Man. I can just imagine that prior to it he went to Chief Justice Roberts and went "Yo Rob Dawg, I know you know what they be sayin about me. I'm an extremist radical racist christian whose simultaneously a closet muslim terrorist whose really just here to satisfy the athiests. So what I need you to do is screw up on that whole swearing in junk so that we can do this thing again somewhere else so I don't have to touch no bible unless its a giant racist bible or a quar'an that's set on fire, you dig?"

And Chief Justice Roberts obvious being a man of great intellect agreed completely to go along with this devious plan by Obama to be sure that he didn't have to touch the bible when he was REALLY sworn in, which actually probably used entirely different words like "I Swear to turn the United States into a socialist state where we kill all republicans, christians, and white people and I become king, haha hahaha haha ha ha."

Or you know....

Roberts could've flubbed it up. Obama is a known student of the Constitution. Its just the start of his Presidency that is already marred by extremists claiming he's not even a freaking citizen. So he thought to go ahead and actually get sworn in properly in honor of those that came before him and the constitution while also taking ammo away from his critics in what amounted to likely be 10 minutes out of his busy busy life. Its not even the first time such has had to happen.

Didn't say they weren't slanted right, I've admitted it a great number of times on this forum. However, being slanted right and being a group of whack jobs who have an agenda to try and convince the american public that Barack Obama isn't ACTUALLY the president because the oath of office was messed are two seperate things.

The news portion of Fox I saw yesterday around 6:00 or 7:00 had something on it, had two scholars saying it wasn't THAT big of deal, said that he should probably go ahead and redo it to cut extremists on the right off a bit early, and noted it wasn't even Obama's fault. Hardly the actions of a network that is trying to purposefully implant the notion that Obama couldn't actually be President because he failed to say the oath right.

I'm not saying that they won't sometimes offer an opposing viewpoint. I'm just saying that overall from what I've seen over the years they slant to the right just as MSNBC slants to the left.

well it is good to know that while it may take months or even years for BDS to be weeded out of the Left
they can still cling to their FNCDS
get a ****ing life already

I hear Obama had his fingers crossed behind his back.

He was born in Kenya so he's not qualified anyway. Plus all the illegal campaign funds means he stole the election.
