US breached order by executing Mexican: UN court

Do the toxic fumes of Jersey make everybody in that state completely illiterate?

Anyways :

danarhea

My question :

Would you be in favor of Americans being executed in other countries for breaking their laws?

If danarhea believes in justice being served then he'll have absolutely no objection to justice being served in other countries on American citizens. It's a matter of consistency.

And he answered, for raping and killing 2 girls, yes.

try again.

That's not what I asked though. Seriously. Are you illiterate? Read the question I asked. And read the answer he gave. He answered what he wanted to answer. Not what I asked.

to clarify, he was not just "molesting kids and then killing them." he played a principle, even leadership role in the gang-rape of two teenage girls and then brutally murdered them.

What is the title of this thread, and what are we discussing. You tried to widen the goal posts and then accused others of "widening" when all they were doing was sticking to the topic.

Sorry man, you are wrong.

Did they rape and murder 2 liittle girls?
Then yes.
Wouldn't you?

That doesn't contradict me at all. He had already been convicted and sentenced to death. All that quote from you does is show that Texas gave a middle finger to the UN. I give a middle finger to the UN too on that.

I always give the middle finger to the UN... I don't need a reason. ;)

Wrong. Danarhea stated 'Justice was served'. I asked him if he is consistent in his belief that Justice must be served. He has so far failed to answer. The person who set the goal posts here was danarhea.

And you widended them. Whats the problem here?

That's not what I asked. Read it again. I asked if you'd be okay with Americans in other countries being punished according to the laws of those countries. This question basically determines whether your sense of when justice must be served is consistent or not.

In Saudi Arabia? I think it's beheading for weed. But then in my case that'd probably get em all high the moment the smoke starts pouring out of my body.

You know what I like to do, when a place has archaic and abusive laws? Overthrow their government and install one I like. :2razz:

To other countries, execution is barbaric.

I have no problem with Texas doing what they did, but for those cheering it should also realize the sovereignty of other nations to govern their people and execute them for crimes they commit.

Now recognizing sovereignty does not mean one cannot protest the actions. Many protest the U.S. doing executions much like people of the U.S. protest Islamic countries for their execution of prisoners that commit crimes in their countries which is fine. Protesting is fine.

However, much like the Islamic countries, the U.S. has the right to govern its people and like it or not executions are legal in some states.

In our country, what this guy did was heinous, and I cannot feel sorry for his execution.

No, that's NOT what you asked.

You asked:

I amswered THAT question.

Now, answer my question to you.

I'd be more then glad to be the first martyr for America's war for drug use in Saudi Arabia.

The UN doesn't hold any soveriegnty over the US, it can go suck a toad. I don't agree with the death penalty in general, but the UN has no say here. This was Texas' business, don't rape and kill little girls there I guess is the moral of the story.

Good try though. It's kind of like what danarhea keeps saying that justice must be served. I guess it's only if it's YOUR kind of justice and not theirs.

SA doesn't allow tourism, so you can only get there by work visa. It would be pretty hard to challenge this law and dollars to donuts says that SA wouldn't kill an American for breaking the law. Maybe jail and such, I'd say most probably they'd kick them out of SA and send them home.

I answered your question and you know it -- now you're just being anal, and I'm REALLY not interested in what you and Billy Bob do in private.

Now, answer my question:

If an American raped and murdered 2 little girls in come country, would you oppose that country, according to its laws, executing that American?

No you didn't. I asked if you'd be okay with Americans being put to death in other countries. You have so far failed to answer yes or no. You answered whether or not you'd support Americans who kill little girls being executed in other countries. Which I didn't ask. Thanks for trying though Stin-err-Goobie.

Now, answer my question:

If an American raped and murdered 2 little girls in come country, would you oppose that country, according to its laws, executing that American?

I don't believe in the death penalty. So no. I wouldn't. I wouldn't support Americans in America being executed. Why would I support Americans in Korea, Iran or any other country being executed? My position is consistent. Is yours?

No you didn't. I asked if you'd be okay with Americans being put to death in other countries. You have so far failed to answer yes or no.
You keep thinking that.

I don't believe in the death penalty. So no. I wouldn't.
Ok... Since you;re then OK with another country doing it...... what's the problem?

I'm not OK with other countries putting Americans to death on the basis that I don't support the death penalty? Seriously. Stop the strawmen.
