Iran president: 'Not feasible' for Israel to live

Iran president: 'Not feasible' for Israel to live

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - A top Israeli envoy delivered his country's stance on a cease-fire agreement in Gaza to Egyptian mediators trying to seal a truce on Thursday. The Iranian president said the fighting showed Israel's continued existence in the region is "not feasible."

The development came as the U.N. secretary-general pressed Israel and Gulf leaders gathered in Saudi Arabia to discuss the conflict.

So once again we have Ahmonoajihad in his own words. What say the iranian apoligists to this latest round of "push the jews into the sea"

Israel's invasion of Gaza shows again that it only knows how to use overwhelming military force to solve its problems.

Please stick to the topic and not your anti-isreal talking point thanks

It is the topic. You've just already come to the conclusion that he hates Israel because they're Jews. If all you want is a confirmation of your pre-drawn conclusion perhaps you shouldn't be posting in the Breaking News section.

Well I don't think it is feasible to do business or send aid of any kind to Iran while Ahmoudenitard is still breathing.

Nonsense. PErhaps you should address how the Iranian president thinks Isreal is not feasable.

Do I need to spell it out for you?

Israel invades Gaza.

Millions of protesters world wide.

End Result: more people hate Israel and fuel the conflict for years to come.

Its not enough to proclaim you're right and do whatever you want. They've given up on peace and are attacking Gaza for the sake of deterrence. Israel's allies grow thin and its ability to operate this way is waning.

Take yourself to an outside perspective where you ignore "right" and "wrong". Instead focus on what is happening in the world in response to the conflict in Gaza. Egypt and KAS face extreme pressure from their populations to intervene. Iran and Syria have no reason to stop supporting Hezbollah and Arab's sympathize more and more with their view of Israel as an aggressor. Even if you cannot accept that Israel is proceeding in the wrong way, at least accept that the scales are tipping out of their favor.

Well, if we let them do that, do you think they might like us then?

FOCUS,,,,, my man.

What do you think of ahmonajihads comments?

Ok, lets see if you can follow this ridiculously simple line of logic.

Israel is a part of the middle east

Israel has given up making peace with its neighbors

"the continuation of the Zionist regime's life in the region is not feasible."

Ok thank you for your input.

Your lack of even an attempt to understand only highlights your bigotry.

ohhh...he played the bigot card. I predict shiznit's argument will completely self destruct within 3 more posts. The bigot card is always a good indicator of rabidity setting in.

Stop that you bigot!

Although I certainly find mistakes in Israels handling of the whole Gaza situation, Iran is completely out of line here. Making comments like this whilst building nuclear weapons is going to lead to war. Although I doubt Iran would actually follow through on their threats, its unreasonable to expect Israel to risk its very existence against someone who has demonstrated both the desire and ability to utterly destroy them. One way or another, Iran's nuclear program is going to be stopped.

Its democracy.. He is elected president of Iran, just like Bush was elected president of the US.

A lot of elected presidents are morons.

I think Iran realizes it is not going to take out Israel all by itself. The comment speaks more to the regional tension that is feeding off the conflict that Iran in particular. Also it is unclear of whether Iran is developing nuclear weapons right now. All reports come back clean. People are mainly unsettled by the rate of enrichment which will make attaining nuclear weapons a simple and short task should the need arise.

I agree with you.. Israels actions ARE relevant.. However they do not even remotely qualify as a reason/justification for a president of a country to call for what the president of Iran has called for.

I believe the Iranian minister takes issue with the Zionists in Israel, not the Israeli population as a whole.

Thus the comment: "the continuation of the Zionist regime's life in the region is not feasible."

We were talking about his most recent comments. He does not call for the extermination of Israel, but points out that it is quickly becoming apparent that the "Zionist Regime" cannot be a part of a peaceful ME.

Well.. This I do not agree with at all.. There are many reasons for the middle east mess, intolerance is one of the biggest reasons, and the lack of understanding and accepance by the arab nations are also highly relevant.

They could also make the middle east a peaceful place by inviting the Palestinians to their countries, and recognize Israel as a Jewish state.
