Vatican's Cardinal Renato Martino calls Gaza a concentration camp | The Australian

ROME: The Gaza Strip had been turned into a "concentration camp" by two weeks of Israeli bombardments, a senior Vatican official said in an interview published yesterday.

Vatican justice and peace minister Cardinal Renato Martino was quoted by the online Italian daily Il Sussidiario.

"Let's look at the conditions in Gaza: these increasingly resemble a big concentration camp," Cardinal Martino said.

Israel slammed Cardinal Martino's comments, saying they were "based on Hamas propaganda".

What does most of the Vatican know about the world? Oh yeah nada.

But that doesn't stop most of the Roman Catholics from obeying the Vatican.

What would lead you to believe that he knows nothing about HAMAS? Are you privy to information that he is not? Does he lack the ability to research things?
