Can't blame "Joe the plumber" for cashing in on his new found fame. Can only really look at those that are hiring for a "war correspondent" and laugh at them which I do lol.

I don't know one single person personally that would turn down this offer if it was offered to them.

The man asked Obama a question and right made him into an icon for the losing side. I don't know if you realized this or not, but his question wasn't a bombshell. Hell it wasn't even posed in an honest manner. He made himself out to be something he was not. "Hey Barak, your tax plan would raise my taxes wouldn't it?" WOW! What a poignant question, and asked on camera too! Your side blew him up, your sides candidate built a platform around this jerkwater nobody.

Your side rallied around him like he was some kind of saint. Saint Joe the Plumber, Patron Saint of the Desperate Partisan.

The vitriol of the left has nothing to do with it. This guy is a male version of Kim Roberts only there is no lacrosse team being accused of rape.

A real journalist has skills and qualifications far beyond those of a mere reporter or "correspondent".....
I suspect JTP can correspond well enough to supply a smattering of info to some small news show.

Or provide commentary for the largely uneducated masses his persona has been almost been tailored to fit like a cheap suit. It's a matter of making 'Joe Average' feel like he understands just what the hell is going in the Middle East even though he's got a bare as knuckles knowledge of the geopolitical factors involved. It's kind of like grabbing some stick up kid from the Bronx and putting him up on a stage to discuss Nietzsche.

For what it's worth, the average "Joe Average" probably has a more nuanced and thoughtful approach to the situation in the middle east than the majority of dbags who claim to be knowledgeable about it.
