Joe the Plumber to become war correspondent

I gave Bush time until he thought it was a joke that there were no WMDs. In fact, lots of people did. Dems supported him until his promises never came to fruition. I know, things change in war. Well then, don't make promises (or threats) that you can't keep. It kills credibility if you don't keep them.
As I recall there were millions in the Democrat Party who claimed that Bush stole the election of 2000. The Democrat Party prevented his transition team from using federal facilities (his campaign asked me for money to help pay for rental of office space). Then they vandalized the White House and stole furniture. Then that withheld his political appointments.

Since the Democrats set the bar so low I can get pretty down and dirty and still be head and shoulders above them. ;)

I understand that harvard is very impressive and everything. to say "obama is brilliant, he was an editor of the harvard law review" is one thing. to say "obama is brilliant, he was the first black editor of the harvard law review" is another thing. to me the mention of race in this instance is unnecessary, though slippery slope dude would use it to accuse conservatives of latent racism.

if managing to be elected president is evidence of brilliance then I don't want to hear anyone calling george bush a dummy ever again.

Being the first to do something is noteworthy.

Who was the fifth black person to play major league baseball?

Who was the fifth person on the moon?

Who was the fifth person to fly across the Atlantic ocean nonstop?

Who was the fifth person to break the sound barrier?

Who was the fifth person on earth?

If we didn't have the racial history that we have, it would probably have happened sooner and wouldn't be as noteworthy. It's not as moving of a story if a person is always sober and never had to beat those demons that drunkards face, as a story about someone who was down and had the odds stacked against him yet he overcame his alcoholism and now maintains sobriety.

Trick question. The fourth and fifth guys joined the same team on the same day. I don't know their names, but they were with the Giants.

Who was the fifth person on the moon?

Alan Shepard

Who was the fifth person to fly across the Atlantic ocean nonstop?

I don't know

Who was the fifth person to break the sound barrier?

Don't know that one either

Who was the fifth person on earth?

Well, IMO, you'll look like an idiot for using the same tactics that those you attack use. It's hypocritical. If you really think you are right, rise above.

Who was the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review?

Surely higher than yours since you can't seem to figure out what it is that makes people think Obama is brilliant. I think you've got to be pretty brilliant to be the first black editor of the Harvard Law review, as a just one example. See unlike those on the "right" who only give credence to the academic achievements of other righties, I happen to place a high value on academic pursuits.
Actually, my I.Q. as it stands is higher than the estimates I have seen from Mr. Obama, I believe his was around 125, not that it is important. What makes Obama so brilliant? I want your assesment, NOT speculation, writing in the Harvard Law Review, okay, great, he wrote in a law review, many, many other scholars have, that does not differentiate brilliance from intelligent. Again why is he so......in your opinion brilliant?

Talk about strawman... I think your post is soon to listed as the new definition.

The truth is that during times of duress ignorant people do indeed cling to their bibles and their guns. Obama never mentioned taking away peoples religion or guns...
Is that the truth? Or is that your perception of the truth, I don't read the bible or go to the shooting range when I am under duress, I solve the problem, but I guess since Obama said it, it must be true.

it's not noteworthy when we're discussing his intelligence.

In a way I agree, but I and I will assume the rest of the real Republicans remaining will tactfully shove a few **** burgers down the current congress and executive branches throat's as payback, but hopefully will keep it more tactful.

That's my point in a nutshell, I have these claims of brilliance being thrown around while all I see is a different president trying to resurrect the same failed theories as his predecessors, I don't see brilliance in that, although he says nothing very well.
