Don't destabilize Russia, Putin warns foes | International | Reuters
One of the first things a dictatorial Government does when confronted with bad news, is to turn on it's own citizens, for example look at Zimbabwe, now we have Putin having to pay for the stupidity of attempting to spend Russia's considerable reserves on re-building it's Military might of Soviet days, of coercing Russia's Duma (Parliament) into making him and his ilk of the KGB (latterly renamed FSB) into dictatorial rulers.
Such is Russia's idea of Democracy, even under their own idea as to what Democracy might mean, they murder dissenting Journalists, forcibly imprison in Mental Hospitals any dissident who may actually have a voice heeded by the populace.
The West has no need to destabilize Russia, Putin and his thugs can and do do that quite well on their own.

Russia receives the majority of it's wealth by sales of energy (Oil and or Gas), the price of which is currently falling.
One might suppose that because Americans are using less Oil this might be seen by Russia (Putin) that the USA is destabilizing Russia?

That could be.

Putin and his cold war cronies are will see any move made by anybody else as an attempt to harm the unstable government of Russia.

It seems to me that Putin thinks he should be the next Czar.

Once I suggested you to post on Yahoo. I was wrong. I was pointed many times since that any lies and deceptions about Russia, any kind of Russo phobia are encouraged on DP, when any truth may be a subject for a swift and severe punishment. I apologize for my mistake. Carry on.

It is not difficult to go on Putin’s or Russian gov. site and read the speech and the occasion and audience it was given to.

Oh, no it very, very difficult for those who have an agenda to impose Russo phobia.
