Now this is where you continue to insist that you do indeed have a point and that I just don't get it, but then spend zero effort explaining to me or anybody else what that point is supposed to be. And the reason why you won't say what the point is is because even if you did have one, it's too complicated for you to be grasp and put into words.

It's an interesting relationship between Biden and black Democrats. Biden thinks they are a monolith and foregone conclusion. OTOH, black Democrats feel they already own Biden and can manage him.

Why does the VP always have to be a white male?

Biden wouldn't have gotten the nomination without the black vote...and if he doesn't pick a black woman then I think he'll definitely lose their vote. So he better get it right.

Personally, I'd love to see a black woman as VP. My preference is either Rice or Harris, but I'm leaning toward Harris.

If there's anything less threatening than a hundred black dudes in an American election, I don't know what it is. Biden may lose anyway for being Biden. Liberals have higher standards than cons but anybody who draws the line at black woman is playing a foolish game. They should be happy for any person or lower life form that can unseat the Orange menace.

Given the reluctance for Biden to name a VP candidate, it appears that he (or, more likely, the people running him) realizes that the frontrunners just aren't very good candidates. IMHO, he would be better off choosing an unknown than the bad choices that have been thrown out there.
