Trump signs executive orders on coronavirus economic relief

I cannot believe that any American, right or left, believes this post is legal or possible. I cannot believe that someone who calls themselves slightly conservative wrote this mess. Incredible.

Food challenged children are those that get 1 or 2 meals a day in school and can't now because schools aren't open and many won't reopen in person this fall. You also are numb or dumb to that fact that there are still 30 million Americans unemployed an they have kids. HAven't you the seen the food bank lines that stretch for miles?

The truth is, as we already know, you don't give a sh** about other Americans. You could care less if they're hungry. I wouldn't be surprised if you would prefer all of the poor to die so you'd have more. Good try at walking what you wrote back but you're still wrong. If Trump were to properly take the procedures dictated by law he can then eliminate DACA without Congressional approval. What Trump and his lemmings did, as always, was a half-assed job when he tried to eliminate DACA. He did it the wrong way which was what SCOTUS said he couldn't do...but they also said try again and follow the rules (Which always hard for Trump and his lemmings to do).

Both of your last two posts were riddled with false claims.

Obama did use Executive Orders to a degree which made it a right wing meme. In many cases, including DACA, the White House was aware that they might be overturned in court, but went ahead anyway.

There is a big difference between an experienced, competent leader, who knows the law and the constitution, stretching the limits of the law (and respecting the courts if they rule the other way) and a malignant, crooked little clown who can’t spell Constitution and who thinks he’s a king who can rule by decree. (and counting on a base that is so stupid as to think he’s smart).

And no, you don’t necessarily have to go to court, every time this President exceeds his authority. There’s only 85 days left!

It does not matter how much money a person/ family makes. We all spend to our limits making everyone "feel" like they are struggling. This false narrative that Trump would do this to help real struggling families out is stupid.

Imagine putting 2 billion in a 'relief' package for a new FBI building, another 2 billion for new F-35s, 1 billion for surveillance planes, 375 million for armored vehicles, 360 million for missile defense, 283 million for Apache helicopters, and not a single dollar for food challenged children and the millions of people facing possible eviction. The cruelty is just incredible.

What? You should listen to yourself. You just said that Obama issued EO's about DACA which helped people while being aware that they might be overturned in court, but went ahead anyway. Then you blast Trump for issuing EO's which will help people during the pandemic while being aware that they might be overturned in court, but went ahead anyway. Trump is so ignorant of how the law and the Constitution works that he'll sign anything put in front of him, even if it is explained in very small words in 3 paragraphs. Anything over 3 syllables is beyond him.

All administrations have borrowed from Social Security. It’s not illegal and there is a defined procedure that must be followed.

Under current law, the securities (loans from Social Security to the general fund) in the Trust Fund represent a legal obligation the government must honor when program revenues are no longer sufficient to fully fund benefit payments.
