This is a stunt specifically designed to help Trump. It wasn't even Kanye's idea, but he went with it because he craves the spotlight as all narcissists do.
 
Bill Weld, Mark Sanford and Joe Walsh all gave up their campaigns to run against Trump, so what would make anyone in this country feel that Kanye West is any kind of threat to Joe Biden? If anything, he'll take some votes from Trump but not enough to be a blip on the radar.

The only thing Kanye West is going to get from his foolishness is more embarrassment for himself and the Kardashian family. Kanye West has been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. Yeah sure, that's just what the USA needs, a mentally unstable president. Oh wait......

It seems to me that that spoiler effect would only work if people who would otherwise vote for Biden would vote for West. I'm have a hard time thinking that that would be the case here with fans willing to support him for president. It seems more likely that they are usually non political and wouldn't vote all in West's absence on the ballot.

How many votes do you think it will take for Biden to lose?
And how and why would many blacks think Kanye is really serious about wanting to be elected?
And how is he any different from Johnson and Jill Stein four years ago?

Yes, you're right...he is mentally ill, combined with enough means to make it a world wide joke, instead of the private or localized misery that most of us with mental illness endure. Hopefully he listens to whoever is telling him to get help.

A really sneaky thing to do would have been to spend the last four years getting a bunch of people named "Donald Trump", "Donald J. Trump", "D.J. Trump", "Donald John Trump", "President Trump", President Donald Trump", "President Donald J. Trump", "President D.J. Trump", and "President Donald John Trump" on the presidential ballot in all 50 states.

As I recall, The Rhinoceros Party/Le Parti Rhinocéros (a legitimate [well, at least registered with Elections Canada] Canadian political party that had never elected a single person in any election [which includes "giving away Senate seats as lottery prizes" amongst its political platform planks]) actually did something similar by running two official candidates in the same riding (because the polling showed that the single candidate that they had already nominated was quite likely to win and that would have been anathema to their standards).

There's no requirement for 'fitness' for office?

Are you claiming that if diagnosed with a mental illness, a POTUS would be able to retain office?

Are there no legal considerations re: mental competency?


This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

He might get even sicker after he's charged with election fraud and his wife divorces him. Over half the signatures on his petitions were fake. Also it's illegal for campaign operatives to work on two campaigns.

It's quite likely he'd only pick up people who wouldn't have voted for either, or the 'protest vote' which in this election will be small.
