Portland mayor condemns rioters for 'attempting to commit murder'

I don't support anarchy.

I am just opposed to the Portland PD, because they are a disgrace to the profession.

The PD I work for doesn't make a habit of brutalizing citizens, and nobody is burning our precinct buildings down. Amazing, right?

Yes you do support it. You just made several statements throughout the thread confirming it. Now you want to attempt to justify the situation as some pathetic noble cause.

Does the PD you supposedly work for are aware of your anarchist viewpoints?

They are aware of my views, yes. Was that some form of veiled threat?

And the French didn't have problems with 1%ers for 200 years and their economy was just fine.

Well, at least we know you support Genocide. Keep in mind that the 1% weren’t the only victims of the mob that eventually consumed itself.

Whatever the benign or malign forces that finally prompted this imbecilic elected MORON to finally change his tune...fantastic. Bout flippin' time.
Too bad he didn't have this epiphany before so many people were hurt, businesses lost, taxpayer money squandered and parts of his city decimated.
Maybe he called the Dionne Warwick Psychic Hotline to find out this wasn't going to end well.

Trump forced him to grow some skittle-sized balls, and its obvious he's still pissed off at Trump because he's still using this disaster to attack him.

LOL there you go with ad hominems when logically pushed into a corner. What evidence have you brought, so far?

And you call me ignorant? :lamo

Well, if the shoe fits.... :coffeepap

This isn't evidence but it does help give some insight what's really going on....

"...But Trump overplayed his hand. Protesters like Mac Smiff, a prominent black activist in Portland, described how the feds ratcheted up the violence. “We came out here dressed in T-shirts, using hula hoops and stuff — they started gassing us,” he said. “So we came back with respirators — they started shooting us. So we came back with vests — they started aiming for the head. So we started wearing helmets. And now they call us terrorists. Who’s escalating this? It’s not us.”..."

Because there is no research that justifies anarchy let alone conspiring to commit an act of mass murder.

Ummmm. Anarchy is just spreading power horizontally without rulers. Theres many books on anarchist thought :p. Thats..... not what you were talking about. You were talking about the protests and why people are pissed at the police. You were asking for evidence for what you didnt see.

There likely is certainly going to be political ramifications for their handling of this. The protesting is fine and should be protected, .......

No, 70 days of blocking streets isn't protest. Its civil disobedience. I protested once in the 80s. Had our signs, chanted our slogans and stayed on the sidewalk. If you want to parade down the streets, you need to get permits that wont be made available for 70 days in a row. They need to be arrested and charged as soon as they refuse to clear the streets. a handful of prolifers protesting in the middle of a street would be immediately arrested if they refused to clear the streets. Shouting "Black lives matter" shouldn't be treated as a get out of jail free card. Portland has plenty of public open spaces where they can "protest" all they like.

Uncivil disobedience, really.

Like the thousands of people protesting everyday in Portland. In a nation of anarchy, the police would be replaced by private forces that wouldn't have tolerated the 2nd day of this 70 day "protest".

Feudalism can be that way.

Im just describing what it is. Its still a protest though :p

Civil disobedience is how the civil rights movement worked. They didnt just ask kindly :p as for arresting? Did any of those militia quacks that stormed a government building with firearms ever get arrested?

No, that's Mac Smiff's Portland. Or his deluded version of it.

Id say their peaceful and legal protest was responsible. And in the 60s they were arrested. Generally those who used peaceful civil disobedience also peaceably went to jail. AND while demanding equal rights is a legitimate demand, defund the police or we'll burn down the Federal Court House, or the local police precinct is not.

Death penalty.

Of course, Mayor Cuck. So why are you don't you just admit Trump was essentially correct about your rioters?

This cuck was okay with local and federal officers being brutally assaulted and having their families personally threatened but murder is where this idiot wants to draw the line? Pathetic.

No excuses from the LeftLies are valid. No rationalizations, no emotional rhetoric. No amount of whining and tears will explain away this domestic American hatred.

Why would he do that? They are all peaceful, even the ones that threw paint at the old lady with a walker.
Everyone knows it’s the federal officers in Portland to blame or maybe it’s Trump.
We need to blame someone other then the stupid mayor.

So why don't you stop talking about it, get off your fat ass, and go blow **** up then? Is it because whatever parts of you aren't filled with hot air are filled with ****? Tough talker, but you're too much of a coward to actually do what you claim to think needs to be done.
This came across a little harsh, but I want to clarify that I'm not encouraging that particular poster to go out and commit unlawful acts. I am instead asking why he/she isn't doing so, in light of their "tough talk" and actual defense of attempted murder. As I read it again, it occurred to me that the post could be taken in a manner I didn't intend; just wanted to make sure my intention was clear.

That mayor has been hoist by his own petard.

Beautiful!

Anrchist working for the police department??? Kinda like a vegetarian working in a meat packing plant.
