oh, believe me, i didn't miss it. working to help on the science side has taken a good chunk of my family time. luckily, i am not a hollow headed orange buffoon who fired the pandemic response team, defunded Predict, and then pulled us out of the WHO while interfering with CDC data. what a mother****ing moron that idiot is. mismanaging a crisis is a great way to destroy an economy. he is truly the king of the fools.

I think this is a temporary hesitation in the recovery, but the number of small businesses that were killed by this shut down, like the victims killed by the virus, have been killed.

The current unemployment number is high, but seems to be dropping like a stone in a pond. Hiding from Covid, obviously, is not a strategy that works.

Living with Covid using better tactics and strategies is what is working.

I have heard that half of all deaths due to Covid are occurring elderly care facilities. Here in Indiana and I suspect nationally, more than 90% of all deaths are occurring in the population aged 60 and up.

Therapies are improving on an almost daily basis and survivability among those hospitalized is increasing all the time.

The populations that work and go to school are really not at extreme risk in this pandemic as it grips America.

Staying closed is not a medically inspired strategy. It is political.

For the folks in the age demographics younger than 60, this illness is actually much, much less deadly than the regular flu.

It makes me wonder WHY that nugget is so well hidden by our media.

The reality is that there are many, many people who are infected but are non-symptomatic. Many who don't even have "the sniffles" but are still confirmed "cases".

Did you really not know this?

Blaming Obama for the 8 years of economic strangulation is justified by the response of the economy when the noose was removed from its neck.

The President did EXACTLY what he promised to do and the outcome was EXACTLY what he said it would be.

Returning to and strengthening the measures previously used to strangle the economy is what Biden is promising and what you seem to desire.

Yep. Generally speaking, you shouldn't need constant revisionists to clarify what Trump means when he says things; his administration have had to do this numerous times. Often those who don't speak clearly don't think clearly either. I think it's something as simple as him not understanding the complexity of issues. He does well at broad rhetoric and hyperbole, but then tends to be in a state of disarray when asked about the specificity of his ideas.

The Biden plan is simple. Follow the science. It helps all Americans. The Trump plan has been to try to downplay the virus and hope it goes away that only helps the virus.

You claim to be concerned about the stock market, but then you support Trump’s China bashing. What you and many others don’t realize is that many American companies are very successful in and dependent on China. For example you don’t even know that China is GM’s biggest customer, not the US. Trump is putting the world’s biggest market for American companies in jeopardy. Sure China has not always been fair, but our banning of Huawei and push to get them banned in other countries certainly is as unfair as anything China has done.

Biden’s mental capacity? Trump desperately wants the economy back more than anything else. Yet he doesn’t realize that his anti mask and testing position along with his LIBERATE, LIBERATE have done nothing but make sure that the pandemic thrives and the economy stays in the toilet. How could anyone be that STUPID. Talk about diminished mental capacity!
