Well, there's this then...

The National Rifle Association is fighting back against a lawsuit filed Thursday by New York’s attorney general by submitting its own civil suit against the state official, accusing her of defamation and violating its rights to free speech.

The NRA’s lawsuit was filed in the federal court of New York and alleges Attorney General Letitia James “made the political prosecution of the NRA a central campaign theme” when she was running for the AG’s office in 2018, and has not treated the association fairly since.

With Trump criminals, they are an uppity bunch. They call their judge and jury crooks. They disrupt, curse, spit, whatever, which is what they learned from Trump, who learned from Roy Cohn.

Between Falwell and his young Peg Bundy lookalike with the open pants on his yacht and La Pierres yachts, these two grifters found a real money machine and with the permission of Jesus, a nice little hottie to play truth or dare with.

Gives new depth to “brazen criminals!”

Figures.
They get caught padding their personal pockets, then cry when caught.
Hilarious. More money wasted on themselves rather than the cause.
Lying morons.

Interesting tactic for the NRA to attempt to disband the Attorney General's office. Or perhaps the Headline writer needs a few more words.

I think the NRA has long ago ceased being about actual promotion of gun rights and firearm education and has turned more into some right-wing, GOP fundraising machine. I think they will have a tough road ahead of them trying to prove their case. It seems quite clear that they've been stealing from the coffers and engaged in activity that would get a non-profit disbanded.

Interesting that the NRA files a “19 page” counter suit a few short hours after the NYAG announced!

Hello, 30 million to them Trump campaign and 54 total in 2016.

The NRA Placed Big Bets on the 2016 Election, and Won Almost All of Them

Why do you think the Russians were so interested in gaining some influence in the NRA? Certainly not because they care anything about gun-rights or safety.

I wish the NRA luck in its lawsuit. The AG going after the organization is a political move and a personal vendetta IMO.

I also wish the AG the best of luck if she decides to go after certian individuals she has evidence of that have broken the law. They should be prosecuted

Why would you let the organization off the hook when they're stealing money from gun owners? Maybe you gun grabbers should just stay out of stuff you don't know the facts about.

The individuals who are committing the crimes should be prosecuted for what they hve done. The NRA hasn't stolen anything from anyone.

Are you a member of the NRA?

From what I have heard, it's corrupt to the core. Many whistleblowers tried to stop the fraud only to fall on deaf ears. Kind of like catch and bury.

The party that wants to defund police would complain about someone filing a lawsuit against a state AG for trying to violate civil rights.

What does it take for an organization to held responsible for systemic behavior? Does every single person there have to be involved first?

Because the lawsuit is baseless and is a blatant attempt to continue hiding their crimes. Weird that you want to let them keep stealing from gun owners.
