Caroline Kennedy to seek Hillary Clinton's Senate seat

LOL There, there, Gill. We know you're still stinging over Palin's loss.

Senator = Vice President? Yeah right.

I'm not saying I think Caroline Kennedy is qualified.

This has been addressed already. He ain't comparing the positions. He's comparing the credentials of two individuals to hold public office.

If I understand you people, you're saying that, on the one hand, the VP office is a ceremonial one with no real authority (see your arguments about Palin's comments), yet, she was not qualified for it despite having actual governing experience. However, here we have a Senate seat with substantial authority and importance and you're fine with someone lacking any qualification whatsoever.

My goodness, the dishonesty required to settle on such a position...
