Portland and Seattle are two examples of why I am scared to death of having liberals in control of the U. S. government again.
 
The Secretary noted that only four "protestors" have been injured while over 100 law enforcement officials have been injured. The protestors have two things in common-hating the USA and supporting the use of violence or acting violently.

If the local officials can't keep a handle on things, the Feds need to be able to step in and protect people.

At its peak, Coronavirus was the #1 cause of death in the US. But if you think it's "no big deal," you do you.

By the way, at this point it's more accurate to call it an America Virus than China Virus. It's much more prevalent here.

In fact the protesters aren't too clear on what they're protesting. except in vague terms, and doubt they understand why they're out there. They're rioting in the cause of 'Anti Fascism' when there is no Fascism and protesting that Black Lives Matter when there is no argument to the contrary.

These are people are not too bright and with very empty lives, but instead of changing themselves to understand the world they want to change the world to suit them, and they certainly don't have the smarts to do that either.

Aside from, you know, people being strangled to death in the streets. Other than that, great point.

It will be interesting to see if they can come together to create lasting positive change or if this too shall pass over the winter a la Occupy.

How do you know it's more prelevent in the US than China? Who's your source? The damned virus came from China and you can't change that.

They have no idea what lasting positive change they want and certainly can't articulate it. They're just rioting, looting,destroying property and yet have no clear message. It's Hope And Change all over again and never includes specifics.

During the Cold War people were trying to escape Cuba, Russia, East Germany, etc, but the leftists still believed, despite all the clear evidence. It seems they just want to believe and they can't help it any more than the color of their eyes.
