President Donald Trump plans to sign an executive order on Tuesday that aims to prevent migrants who are in the United States illegally from being counted when U.S. congressional voting districts are redrawn in the next round of redistricting.

The constitution makes no distinction... This has nothing to do with giving these people the right to vote.

There is still no express Immigration clause in our federal Constitution. We should have no illegals or illegal underclass and our Constitution was intelligently designed to be both gender and race neutral from Inception.

Socialism requires social morals for free not market based morals for a market friendly price as under Capitalism.

Only Bad communists have problems being faithful their own Constitution and supreme law of the land.

Why is it "blatantly unconstitutional" BlueTex?

Forget permanent illegal immigrants for a moment. If a particular state has millions of non-citizen workers temporarily residing in it, why should they be apportioned more congressional representatives?

Well, he's not - because he can't.

The law - and the Constitution - make it clear that apportionment is based on total population, not just citizens.
 
He doesn't have the ability, he will lose in the courts and that will be that. Only food for his base, act like he is doing something about illegals, lose in court, whine about the courts. Mission accomplished, a great big nothing burger.

As far as I understand, the Executive branch has nothing to do with apportionment.

I don't even think it'll need to go to court.
