AUSTIN — Former Vice President Joe Biden has built a 5-point lead over President Donald Trump in Texas, as unease over Trump’s handling of coronavirus mounts, a new Dallas Morning News-University of Texas Tyler poll has found. If the general election were held today, Biden would carry Texas, with 46% of the vote to Trump’s 41%. 14% were undecided or named someone else. Biden’s lead, which comes after he and Trump were tied 43%-43% in The News and UT-Tyler’s April survey, is significant, if barely: The poll, conducted June 29-July 7, has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.24 percentage points.

That's what this election is REALLY about. Crushing Republican nuts so hard they never dare do something like this again. I don't give two ****s about Biden's minor personality and political flaws. The orange asshole has to go at any cost and there are millions of Americans who see it that way as well.

Biden's up by 9.6 according to FiveThirtyEight's poll aggregator. That's the largest gap so far. Not looking good for Trump. Trump is also about to dip below 40% approval rating (which frankly is shocking it hasn't already considering everything he's done in the past month).

We'll have to see the extent of republican electoral fraud I suppose which is really the only thing that can stop Biden at this point.

People say things like "stop Biden"
But really, Trump is the main motivator of Biden votes.

Someone needs to stop (and perhaps reverse) Trump
if the GOP want to win.

Trump is the biggest campaign boost for an opposing presidential candidate I have ever seen in my life.

With the eliminate of the secret ballot and mail-in ballot frauds as the tactic of the Democratic Party, it is likely Republicans have no chance in the election because there wouldn't actually be an election. Rather, there will just be the elimination of American democracy replaced with North Korean democracy.

I see Trump's propaganda efforts are working. He's already laid the groundwork for his "stolen election" screeching that will start in November. You'll believe it. You'll post about it over and over. You'll demand he declare the election invalid.

Polls in a vacuum.

Joe has to get the nomination first. Then he has to give a speech on TV. Then he has to sell the plan that a VP is being chosen who will be handed the presidency in the first term, possibly the first year, to a VP who could not get the nomination on her own.

In democrat circles, this “pass the presidency” scheme is just hunky dory. The democrats are simply counting on enough Trump hate to sell it in the real world. Based on what is happening on the ground in America and in foreign policy I find that a stretch. But hey. That’s just me.

You have to be a real true believer to buying what the DNC is selling.

No they wont, they aren't that bright, they will blame the Dems of cheating, they own people not showing up or any other excuse they can make up. So long as the Repubs lose I don't care what they claim was the cause.

Nearly every Democrat demands ending secret voting by demanding mail-in ballots and have already engaged in massive voter fraud in the primaries. Just in Washington state in the Democratic Party primary they outright threw away 45,000 ballots - enough votes to change the outcome in the 2016 presidential election - and that was just with the lower turnout in just one party's primary. That equals nearly 200,000 in just one state for a general election. Nationwide that is over 10,000,000 votes.

In 2016 millions of ballots were "lost" and millions were fraudulent - and most people voted in-person. 5 elections have been voided due to mail-in ballots so impossible to be realistic. If the 2020 election is voided, Pelosi becomes president. With there being no secret voting and tens of millions of fraudulent mail in ballots and millions thrown away, actual legitimate elections no longer exist in the United States as of the general election. This is exactly what the corporate-fascist (Nazi) Democratic Party and you want.

There are states that have been using mail in ballots and it works just fine...Colorado is one of those states...they have very low voter fraud...so your complaint is actually making it clear that your side's plan is to cheat at the ballot box, because you cannot play havoc with mail ins.

You might want to look in the mirror....my post is anything but false or ignorant...do you know that there is very little voter fraud anyway...and the most voter fraud during 2016 came from TRUMP VOTERS?

The Republicans always broadcast their plans. They just do it by saying democrats are doing it, get their base in an uproar over something they do and have been doing, then lie.
It was a republican operative that was prosecuted in 2018 for mail in ballot fraud. It's something they have done for years and are scared to death someone else might do it to.

I have been voting absentee for years. It’s not really about being absentee, but the chain of custody of the ballot and the ease at which a person can lose their privacy to a “helper”. Add in ballots dropped off in hotel and rest home lobbies, and homes with new occupants and you have (in the case of California) millions of ballots mailed to the wrong people ready to be scooped up by third parties and voted illegally.

Every second term election is more a referendum on the incumbent. And all of the polls consistently show that Trump is in trouble. There is definitely still time, but his polling history doesn't lend credence to any kind of easy victory here.

What is the difference between an absentee ballot with you have been mailing in for years and a mail in ballot?
