Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman retires, citing campaign of ‘bullying’ and ‘retaliation’ by Trump after i

So you wanted him to lie under oath?

actually his testimony proved that trump didn't do what he was accused of.
he was a very good witness for the defense.

The Trumpists will cheer this result Trump's utter corruption.

Remember: the ugliness is the point.

Yeah, they claim to respect and stand for our military men and women....until they don't.

Everything you said is a fabrication.

facts do not care about your feelings.

Vindman's Claims Don't Hold Up | RealClearPolitics
On page 316, Vindman claims that Trump "demanded" investigations from Zelenskiy in return for military aid, but that's Vindman's opinion, not fact. He admitted that the actual words spoken during the call don't support that claim: "I think people want to hear, you know, what they have as already preconceived notions." Vindman's damning admission is found on page 256 of the transcript.

Where did Vindman get his preconceived notion? He points to media stories accusing Trump and Rudy Giuliani of seeking investigations to damage Joe Biden. See pages 176-177 and 251-252.

Vindman confessed he never met or communicated with Trump or Giuliani and didn't know what Trump was thinking, according to transcript pages 36 and 177.

When Vindman was asked if he had knowledge of a quid pro quo communicated to the Ukrainians on July 25 -- or any other day -- he admitted, "no," says page 317 of the transcript.
That makes sense. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko said Thursday he was unaware of any link between investigations and military aid.

How are your legs?

We're now playing the sympathy card?!?

Duckworth plain and simple showed her disdain for the military when she announced she'll block the promotion of 1,100 of her previously fellow soldiers.

How did she lose those legs....while having such disdain for the military?

yes we know the bundle of stupidity that your childish representatives tried to promote and why you can only quote loser cult outlets like RCP to promote this conspiracy theory.

Actually, she showed her love of the military by doing that.

So let me get this straight....a purple heart war hero that spoke the truth is a disgrace to the uniform...but soldiers that commited war crimes and got pardoned are not?

Meanwhile....

Half of active-duty service members are unhappy with Trump, new Military Times poll shows

Being a Purple Heart recipient doesn't make him immune to the rules and regulation of the service.

An Army officer who played a high-profile role in President Trump’s impeachment proceedings is retiring from the military over alleged “bullying” and “retaliation” by the president, his lawyer said Wednesday.

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who served as a national security aide at the White House until earlier this year and was up for promotion to colonel, will leave the military instead, his lawyer, David Pressman, said in a statement.

Up for promotion to colonel, Vindman was harassed & intimidated for his testimony in the Trump impeachment trial.

Here is a link to an article on a website that doesn't have a paywall.

Alexander Vindman retires from Army after Trump impeachment testimony

SOMETHING is missing here. There's no explanation as to how he was 'harassed'. I do understand that he lost his White House position, but he was reassigned to a nearby location. However, the Pentagon made assurances that he wouldn't face any retaliation. He was set for promotion, and scheduled to attend the War Collage in the fall... a step for potential promotion to higher ranks. And of course, by the time he finished that assignment we could have a new president. The timing is very odd.

But Pentagon officials maintained that Vindman would not face retribution for his testimony about the phone call. In February, Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy said Vindman was scheduled to complete his assignment in Washington and head to War College in the fall.

“There is no investigation into him,” McCarthy said.

Right wingers successfully canceled him, but they'll never express outrage over that.

So, still the victim narrative. OK.

Vindman didnt obey the law, he bypassed his superior and broke protocol to snitch on the POTUS.

Absolutely. He got his 15 minutes of fame and loved every minute of it. Now he can write his book, cash in $$$ and enjoy being the leftist darling he aspired to be.

:boohoo::boohoo: What a *****.

No he wasn't. He volunteered.

And wore his dress uniform for the cameras. Oh, and the sob story...the sob story...

Naturally, Flynn is a saint and one who does his sworn duty is the bad guy. Only in the moronic world of the Trump ass kissers.

It's strictly Triumph of the PutinTrump Will.

With the Conservative Right Wing Rowers breaking their backs to get 'em there.

Vindman as with others qualified and eligible can be called to active duty service at any time by the next Potus/C'nC. We can definitely expect that to eventuate.

Lets see...the guy that admitted that he lied under oath, that he fabricated parts of a transcript to intentionally make things look damning and set the whole impeachment inquiry in motion, and that subverted the chain of command is retiring because he feels he is being bullied.

I guess we will have to wait for the book to have those details all explained. More likely, he is getting out now to capitalize on the book market and to get a sweet advising gig on CNN.

The Left loves a good Trump victim. Brian "Potato Head" Stelter can have a new man crush.
