Trump expected to refile paperwork to end DACA this week | TheHill

President Trump is expected to refile paperwork this week to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that offers protections for thousands of young immigrants, according to multiple people familiar with the planning.

Poll are slipping, this will show them!

Limbo lower now!

SCOTUS docket seems to be full, can the Administration just dot the I s and cross the T s and refile in a timely manner?

He's going full on Nixon now. He has nothing else in his favor, so he probably figures "why not"?

Congress could have dealt with this issue 3 years ago, but they would rather use it as a political issue against Trump.

It's a good thing those Dreamers can't vote. They'd have to vote against the Dems.

In the meantime, the Dem propaganda machine...the media...will do their best to turn this against Trump. Even if they have to lie about it.

Well at least he's trying to follow through with his promise to undo everything Obama did. He only does it though when Miller's pushing him to make America whiter or when the polls are down and he thinks there might be one or two left out there who wouldn't vote for him because he's just not racist enough.

Trump has never followed the law in his entire life.

His father was a slumlord.

He's a **** stain

His son is a jerkoff, Donald Jerkoff Trump Jr.

It's a desperation Hail Mary. So much for reaching-out to the Hispanic community. His internal numbers must show he lost them.

What is the strategy here? Trump isn’t looking to bring anyone else into the tent; what is the thinking, turnout?

It could be the "thinking" is to rile up the base to the point that when he is turned out of office the stench of him will linger for a very long time.

Yep. Desperation. Turnout + stopping defections. A vote that doesn't show, is the same as a vote lost.

It's was interesting seeing the Senate go against Trump on masks, and now seeing Graham going against him on NASCAR. The Senate responds to only one thing - Trump's base. And if they go against Trump, it's because they believe it's palatable to their shared base. Trump may actually be becoming too radical for some of his base, as might be exemplified by the pitiful attendance at his rallies & celebrations and the rise of mask use in the Red states despite his protestations.

The virus might be beating Trump. Or more accurately, Trump may be letting it beat him. We had this thing under control, despite Trump's earlier arrogance & incompetence. Sad to see. It might even start tanking the economy again, which would be a terrible unnecessary fate.

No, he’s going full George Wallace/Lester Maddox/Strom Thurmond.

Going “all in” with a pair of deuces..........

Republicans will have to be punished at the polls for their support of this scumbag. We won't forget.

He's a "****ing moron", who tried to fool everyone at the same time. Whoops.

He's flailing. He doesn't know what he's doing. Full tilt....

DACA is the right thing done the wrong way. The president should end the illegal imperial EO version that Emperor Hussein penned, and force Congress to pass it legislatively.

Congress was Republican three years ago.

Congress was Republican three years ago.

Yep. I didn't single out Congressional Dems or Reps. I specifically said "Congress".

What...you don't think Congressional Reps won't use issues against Trump if they can get away with it?

He really is not interested in winning, is he?

He is going to lose votes by doubling down on this issue, without gaining a single vote. OTH, but would lose none (nor gain any) if he just stayed quiet on the issue as no one is going to accuse him of being soft on immigration. The other thought is that he knows he is going to lose, so the racist in him wants to make life as miserable for as many minority people as possible while he still has the power.

No. In a hail mary, you at least pass the ball TOWARD your end-zone.
