Again, context has no place in that liberal mind of yours, context that the U-3 is a better index than the U-6, that the bottom line in employment which included record numbers of under employed indicates a successful Obama economic policy. The electorate got it but the left still continues to post out of context data.

Yes it was a BIPARTISAN shutdown so does that make any difference to the people that lost their jobs.
Obama didn't cause people to lose their jobs back in 2009
But I guess you can't seem to understand that job losses are job losses and YOU want to give Trump credit for every job that comes back after this is over but don't want to give Obama the same type of credit for the jobs that came back after the unemployment numbers topped out after the recession
So if you are going to credit Trump with all the jobs that come back after this you have to give Obama credit for all the jobs that came back when he was President after the recession

The employment numbers come from a snapshot of the economy in the 2nd week of June, before the new wave of infections became obvious and things starting going to hell. Back then VP Pence was declaring victory and saying concern over a new spike was "overblown."
He was wrong. Now even he's wearing a mask. Things have changed a lot since mid-June.

This is the PPP bounce. Businesses that applied have to bring back staff in June and thus get a credit for their payroll. The basic formula has been to lay people off, let them get the extra benefits, hire them back, and get the payroll benefits. Unless we take drastic action and especially considering the abysmal failure to contain the virus, the second round of layoffs will start in July and August.

We have laws none of which ignore the freedoms we have for personal responsibility issues. You don't like the laws, get them changed and try to take away American freedoms to make even bad choices.

You do what the CDC says you won't contract the virus regardless of what someone else does, sorry but reality must suck to be a liberal who seems to want federal mandates on what you can control yourself

The consumer confidence took a huge plunge in April when states started locking down starting with schools. Then in May it stabilized. In the month of June it had significant gains and were greater than any expectations. It isn't back to where it was pre-Covid but the gains are very very good news

The only reason this is any different from any other form of criminal negligence is that some dip**** in a red hat decided to make a pandemic into a partisan issue, and all of his little dip**** followers bought in. That's how history will remember the American response to Covid-19, and no amount of bull**** or attempts to befuddle will reverse that. Respond with as many words as you can string together, it won't change a thing.

But, hey, a few people saw their stocks go up, good for them...and good for you.

Counted part time jobs for both Trump and Obama, you ignored them, those are in the U-6 numbers 1.4 million fewer of them in February 2020 vs what Obama left him. your loyalty to Obama is cult like, can you explain why Obama never got credit from the electorate for economic results you claim were outstanding?
