Intelligence on Russian bounty plot was included in the President's Daily Brief earlier this year...

It was the Kiev coup-masters who used violence to throw out the popularly elected govt. So they're the fascists, here. Supporting that coup means supporting fascism.

Yanuckovitch was democratically elected, went through the effort of the electoral process, to obtain a popular mandate. Your side - the pro coup side - said "**** democracy, we'll use violence and underhanded means to overturn that election, because what we want matters more than what the people want"

And that's exactly the same mentality you're showing toward the US elections. You want to grab power by hook or by crook. Your attitude is nakedly obvious.

Yanuckovitch was corrupt as hell and was Moscow's back pocket. He was democratically voted to be removed from office. He refused to resign. Wonder if we will see something like that should Trump lose in November.

And BTW. JPN is right. That was the same rationale Hitler used to justify his annexation of the Sudetenland.

sorry MC, thats just delusional. He called America murderers to defend his master and ignored that unanimous conclusion that Russia interfered in our election for his benefit. I could on but I've proven my point.

You really need to get up to speed.

That whole Trump/Russia thing has collapsed. It was a fantasy concocted by the Obama administration.

So no...Trump has never cozied up to Putin and Russia. Never.

Nice partisan rant. I agree Trump is an idiot, but the idea that the Russians paid bounties for US troops, assuming that it's true (it has not been proved at all, and NYT is notorious for its propaganda feats over decades) reminds me of the old saying "all is fair in love and war". For those able to remember history and Charlie Wilson's war, the US spent huge amounts of $ on Stinger missiles so that Russian aviators would be killed.

Turnabout is fair play, as they used to say.

Seems its not just the NYT. As for being all fair - so friggin' what?

At the time, peace negotiations are underway with the Taliban and the US/Coalition/Afghan govt were in the midst of releasing 2000 captured Taliban. In the past four months Trump has spoken to Vladdie five Times.

Fair play? Tell that to the squaddies in the field. Proud supporter of the armed forces I see.

The national security apparatus of this administration has been corrupted by Trump's partisan political machinations.

MC, you typed words but you did not respond to my post. try to respond this time. Trump called America murderers to defend his master and ignored that unanimous conclusion that Russia interfered in our election for his benefit.

NYT backtracks by saying brief was only on paper, and not actual live briefing.

Intel community doubts whether the report is even true.

A full staff National Security Council meeting about the Russian bounties was held in March to discuss 'possible response options'. This country faces hundreds of national security challenges each day. Only the top 2 or 3 get elevated to that level. So there isn't way that the President and his closest staff would not know of this.

LOL!!

Even when presented with facts, you double down on your failed conspiracy.

Pathetic.

The president's latest defense: now he claims no such inel was even gathered.

First he didn't see it, then nobody told him, now it doesn't exist. Didn't see nothing, didn't hear nothing, I take no responsibility at all. Same old tune and the base still buys it...

MC, this is going to be hard for you to understand but you posting your deluded opinion is not "presenting facts". In your case its actually presenting delusion. Anyhoo, here's trump defending his master when Oreilly calls putin a murderer

MC, thats me presenting facts. I dont know what your delusion is concerning the mueller investigation (its clearly based on obedience to trump) but it has nothing to do with my posts. I've posted two examples of your master sucking up to putin. All the flailing in the world doesnt change the facts.

No...that's you presenting spin and nonsense from the media, while ignoring the fact that Russia didn't interfere in our election and that the whole "Trump/Russia" nonsense was created out of nothing by the Obama administration.

Hell...you just TRIPLED down on your nonsense.

On the other hand, John Bolton has said he advised Trump about the bounties.

Hahah - John Bolton - your favorite NeoCon warmonger - crooks of a feather flock together, so no wonder you love him.

You and your buddy John "Dr Strangelove" Bolton, hoping for more war and looking for more war opportunities.

Bolton will say anything against Trump, because Trump didn't cater to Bolton's warmongering agenda. Trump is here to Make America Great Again, not to get America bogged down in endless foreign wars.

Nah, me thinks you're getting your pants all tangled up because the leaked intel happens to paint a negative picture about Trump, who I assume, you adamantly adore. So, like a rabid dog, you lash out at those who leaked the intel, and all of mainstream media apparently, whose job is to simply report on this.

The Trump mob and his supporters will blame everyone and deny everything to protect their new Traitor In Chief.

First, the intel was in the PDB. If he didnt read it he is still responsible. But McEnany says he reads them so accoring the WH, trump read it.

McEnany on Tuesday disputed assertions that Trump doesn't read his daily intelligence briefings.

Russian bounty on US troops: Does Trump read his intelligence briefs?

And no San, the intel community doesnt "doubt if the report is true". and the intel only gets better

American officials intercepted electronic data showing large financial transfers from a bank account controlled by Russia’s military intelligence agency to a Taliban-linked account, evidence that supported their conclusion that Russia covertly offered bounties for killing U.S. and coalition troops in Afghanistan, according to three officials familiar with the intelligence.

Russian Bounty Suspicions Were Supported by Financial Data - The New York Times

Nobody believes this crap - get over yourself. You're a warmonger who's looking for war. Trump is looking to withdraw from Afghanistan, but warmongers like you are looking for more war opportunities, especially against the Russians, your newest scapegoat of convenience. Back during the actual Cold War, when Moscow was actually a threat, then you Lefties were always singing praises of your Soviet Socialist favorites. Now that the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics is gone, you're suddenly claiming to have discovered an enemy in Moscow. It's absurd.

Yanuckovitch was corrupt as hell and was Moscow's back pocket. He was democratically voted to be removed from office. He refused to resign. Wonder if we will see something like that should Trump lose in November.

Voted out? When? By who? You and your close circle of friends?

Yanuckovitch was not democratically removed from office - he was ousted in a putsch.

Corruption is the new regime's hallmark. Just ask the Bidens - they know all about how to benefit from Ukraine's corruption.

And BTW. JPN is right. That was the same rationale Hitler used to justify his annexation of the Sudetenland.

Given the Nazi elements who joined the new Ukrainian govt, it's pretty hypocritical for you to mention Hitler and the Sudetenland.

It's all just hearsay. We know that you're obsessed with the Russians, so your side will say anything to promote your narrative. Just like with Steele dossier. No credibility.

Typical liberal--cannot answer a simple, direct question.

Ask the president what HE is going to do about it, I am no position to affect policy.

Ask a reasonable question, and I will answer it. But, of course, typical conservative/libertarian, asking irrelevant questions which do not forward the debate.

Trump has never cozied up to Putin and Russia.

Seriously...haven't you started thinking for yourself yet? Or are you still a slave to the anti Trump media?

In any case, yes...I consider ANYONE who deliberately leaks classified intel without authorization to be a traitor. Furthermore, I consider any Americans who aid and abet that traitor to be accessories to the crime of treason. (that would be virtually ALL of the mainstream media and their entire echo chamber)

Your thesis about no cozying would hold water if Trump was as hard on Russia as he is on immigrants and the media. I have yet to hear an unequivocal criticism of Russian campaign interference, or in the current case, some strong words.

Why is there so much hatred against President Trump that you people have to continue lying and making up issues. Your ideology is so sick these days that I cannot believe actual Americans are making these claims. People that promote this bull**** should be charged with Treason

Evidently, you are not aware of Trump actions against Russia in regard to their oil industry...taking their customers away from them and torpedoing their pipeline projects. Believe me...this hits Russia right in the pocket book and hard. He's also forced Russia to take responsibility...along with Assad...for dealing with Turkey in Northern Syria. That is also costing Russia a lot of money. Again...hitting them in the pocket book.

If Trump was "cozying" up to Russia, he wouldn't have done any of those things...and more.

Don't make the mistake of thinking diplomatic tactics means weakness. You can be sure that Russia doesn't.

Give me a break. They attacked our democracy, and apparently haven’t stopped, and reportedly paid bounties for dead GI’s and that’s all you got? Hiw about recalling our ambassador, a public denunciation, or something else that’s doesn’t suggest he’s Putin’s bitch? Like I said, speak of them like you do or immigrants or the media, Donald.

Is there anything Trump does that troubles you?

EVERYBODY in the world attacks our democracy.

The only reason people like you care about Russia is because you see it as a way to perpetuate the Trump/Russia lie.

If everybody in the world attacks our democracy, we are defeated.

We are a big fish. Russia is a big fish. Big fish fight for control of the pond. The best thing Trump has said about this is that it would be a good thing for us to get along. Yes it would. But if Trump does stuff like saying “Russia is not in Ukraine,” if he fails to object strenuously to their election interference, if he seems to welcome it, he is falling down on the job. You can create a decent relationship with Putin without disbelieving intelligence about their mischief.

There was no Trump-Russia lie. An investigation showed that there was no conspiracy to fix the election, but it is beyond doubt that they tried to interfere in our election, and that Trump didn’t seem to care.

Trump has NEVER welcomed election interference. In fact, his administration has been active in countering such interference...no matter who it comes from.

And finally...seriously...this whole Russian bounty thing has only one purpose, and YOU are aiding that purpose: Trump/Putin.

Please...just stop. There is no such thing as "Trump/Putin" or "Trump/Russia". Don't perpetuate the lie.

No such thing as Trump/Russia you say?
