Intelligence on Russian bounty plot was included in the President's Daily Brief earlier this year...

The intelligence agencies say it has not been confirmed that Russia did this, so what was Trump supposed to do about it. The left has been poisoning our relationship with Russia for 4 years with their collusion bull**** and now this. You would be pissed if it was the right doing this to a democrat but since its Trump, you couldnt be happier.

"The left has been poisoning our relationship with Russia for four years with their collusion bs."

So...Russia's invasion of Ukraine had nothing to do with our relations with Russia. Russia's murders on other sovereign soil had nothing to do with our relations. Russia's involvement in Syria backing Assad had nothing to do with our relations.

No, it was all about the left's obsession with Trump.

Thanks for the laugh. You rarely fail to deliver.

You can't deny it, can you?

Pathetic.

Usually when I resort to cartoons it's because the interaction has devolved into rank dishonesty.

I asked you, "Are you saying that what Russia wants is totally disconnected from Russia's actions? Is that how foreign policy works?"

Your response, "I'm saying that you and your ilk are dishonestly linking two unrelated issues for the purpose of advancing your anti-Trump narrative" was so obviously an attempt to avoid addressing an obvious point that I figured continuing the dialogue was pointless.

And your last post just proved my point. Nice.

Your question was irrelevant.

I gave you the correct, relevant answer.

Sorry if that chaps your ass.

Get over it.

What would you like him to do about it and how do you know we didnt do something about it?

If he did something about it, he'd be bragging about it, but what is he doing? He's denying he was briefed, counter to evidence that he was briefed as early as February.

Ukraine was always an heretogenous land made of more than one ethnic group. Russia felt it had a legitimate interest in protecting the Russian-majority eastern portion of the country - especially after the Kiev coup-masters declared Russian culture to be outlawed. What kind of democracy is that, when it's an undemocratic coup declaring the largest ethnic minority to be outlawed?
You want to throw those people under a bus, just for your own partisan Democrat reasons?

Typical liberal--cannot answer a simple, direct question.

The collusion hoax has damaged our relations with Russia and only a fool could not see that. But then again you never get more than half of any story. Have you bothered to look at the Coronavirus spike in California yet? They set a new record yesterday. But you wouldnt care because they are Blue state and acknowledging that they have a problem would destroy your hackish narrative.

We know Trump lied about not seeing the Intel briefs. Why does he lie so much, how can we trust anything that comes out of his mouth.

That brings to mind the rationale used by the Nazis to occupy the Sudetenland.

It was the Kiev coup-masters who used violence to throw out the popularly elected govt. So they're the fascists, here. Supporting that coup means supporting fascism.

Yanuckovitch was democratically elected, went through the effort of the electoral process, to obtain a popular mandate. Your side - the pro coup side - said "**** democracy, we'll use violence and underhanded means to overturn that election, because what we want matters more than what the people want"

And that's exactly the same mentality you're showing toward the US elections. You want to grab power by hook or by crook. Your attitude is nakedly obvious.

What would you like him to do about it and how do you know we didnt do something about it?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing, that's what Trump is expected to do. Same as everything else, Trump has no responsibilities. Just ask him or one of his supporters. He's all about authority without responsibility.
He's the most helpless "most powerful leader" the world has ever seen.

This american hero speaks for a whole bunch of his fellows.

Trump has never cozied up to Putin and Russia.

sorry MC, thats just delusional. He called America murderers to defend his master and ignored that unanimous conclusion that Russia interfered in our election for his benefit. I could on but I've proven my point.

Trump has never cozied up to Putin and Russia.

Seriously...haven't you started thinking for yourself yet? Or are you still a slave to the anti Trump media?

In any case, yes...I consider ANYONE who deliberately leaks classified intel without authorization to be a traitor. Furthermore, I consider any Americans who aid and abet that traitor to be accessories to the crime of treason. (that would be virtually ALL of the mainstream media and their entire echo chamber)

These are the same people who believed Trump starred in russian pee pee porn tape. They are only working with the genes their failed parents passed on. We are lucky they don't eat their hands by accident....the thinking for themselves ship sailed at the birth canal.

It's hard to imagine the hatred you must have for one person to imagine a whole alternate reality just to try and destroy them.....

Nice partisan rant. I agree Trump is an idiot, but the idea that the Russians paid bounties for US troops, assuming that it's true (it has not been proved at all, and NYT is notorious for its propaganda feats over decades) reminds me of the old saying "all is fair in love and war". For those able to remember history and Charlie Wilson's war, the US spent huge amounts of $ on Stinger missiles so that Russian aviators would be killed.

Turnabout is fair play, as they used to say.

I became aware of that in 1975 Vern.

On the other hand, John Bolton has said he advised Trump about the bounties.

For many disinterested observers, it has been known for decades that NYT's sole function is the delivery of government and corporate propaganda.

First, the intel was in the PDB. If he didnt read it he is still responsible. But McEnany says he reads them so accoring the WH, trump read it.

McEnany on Tuesday disputed assertions that Trump doesn't read his daily intelligence briefings.

Russian bounty on US troops: Does Trump read his intelligence briefs?

And no San, the intel community doesnt "doubt if the report is true". and the intel only gets better

American officials intercepted electronic data showing large financial transfers from a bank account controlled by Russia’s military intelligence agency to a Taliban-linked account, evidence that supported their conclusion that Russia covertly offered bounties for killing U.S. and coalition troops in Afghanistan, according to three officials familiar with the intelligence.

Russian Bounty Suspicions Were Supported by Financial Data - The New York Times

So, Trump and company cozy up to Putin and Russia, and news breaks out saying that Russia had bounties on US soldiers and that the Trump administration was briefed on it, but yet continued his admiration of Putin, and that makes the person who leaked the news a "traitor"?

Whose side are you on?

Mycroft is on the side of Trump, always. He is loyal to Trump and doesn't care about the country.

Remember when Trump insulted his followers by boasting about the fact that he could shoot someone in broad daylight and not lose a single vote? Mycroft proves that statement right every time he posts here.

Not sure why you bother to respond to a post that asks a very direct question, but refuse to address the question. Its not like you need to prove you have nothing to add. I already know that.
