Fox News Poll: Biden leads in Florida as Trump lags among seniors

I grew up a Democrat, spent 16 years voting for Democrats when the party stood for something and wasn't overrun by radicals who have destroyed everything of value that gets in their way. there is no justification for the actions throughout this country today especially in the bluest state of them all California, NY, NJ, Minnesota, and the city of Chicago. This is what your party stands for today and I don't believe seniors in this country are going to support Democrats in November nor the rest of the silent majority

The polls are all wrong.
If they're not wrong it is because they are sampling the wrong people.
If Trump loses, it will be because of fraud.
Most Americans are better off under Trump.
If Americans are not better off, it is because of the Democrats ... and the Chinese ... and the CDC ... and Obama ... and Hillary ... and Biden ... and illegals.
That pretty well cover it?
 
Trump critics cannot become complacent. Despite the polls showing a likely Biden victory, Trump and his supporters are bullies and cheaters and they will do whatever they can to hold onto power. They will cheat at every opportunity.

100+ more Democrats than Republicans surveyed in each one of these major media polls

Pollsters surveying the Republicans they want to, and then multiplying the results by a scale factor

If this were happening the other way around, all hell would be breaking loose, there would be a Senate committee investigating, people would be accusing Trump of conspiring with pollsters

The electorate is 31% Democratic, 30% Republican ;)

The liberal media is feeing you this, brainwashing people into the delusion that Democrats outnumber Republicans - And, apparently, this is their entire stategy for this debate and election cycle

If you can't win on issues, argue that the other side is outnumbered, with the help of crooked pollsters and pranks from Tik Tok

A poll of Jacksonville/Duvall County was released a couple days ago. Residents don't want the RNC convention 49-39. A county that Trump won, albeit by a slim margin (Romney won by a larger margin), is now supporting Biden 51-43.

The convention will be chaotic. Just the idea of it has Jacksonville worried. I think the rest of the state will react similarly.

My lady's parents are ninety six and ninety five. At that age it's a chore just to go to the bathroom. They really should be in a senior facility but at this point that's almost like a death sentence.

Fox contracts with an independent polling firm - they've been with the same firm since 2011

Sean Hannity doesn't oversee the polling, neither does Tucker Carlson - I don't see how anyone at Fox would've known about the polling firm using oversamples while the polling was being completed, and they probably had a professional (or financial) obligation to publish the results once they arrived

I'm not sure how they would have backed out, it's not normal for a network to do that

True. But more importantly, Biden can lose FL and still have legitly viable paths. Not so much, for Trump. And I'd add the same for Trump, if he loses PA.

Of course this all means the election night might be short, if Biden were to win. If FL or PA move into the Biden column, it is pretty much over for Trump. We might indeed know the election result by the first reporting from the East Coast, early in the night. It won't be officially called until later, but we'll know.

I'm not sure what to say here. Accept for my last entry, the numbers seem atrocious for Trump - if they're accurate. Biden has multiple paths to win, including with losing Florida. Trump on the other hand, absolutely needs Florida to win. And with far better numbers in 2016, he carried Florida by only a single point.

My suspicion is the political pendulum will swing back somewhat from this current hard-core swing to Biden. But at the moment, it's looking pretty ugly for Trump.
