IAssume that you just made up the idiotic nonsense about Pompeo and peace on th4 Korean Peninsula. There certainly is no sign of any such thing in reality.

As for the ignominious American retreat from Syria.

Putin will be sure and thank Pompeo if he ever sees him again.

OK, right, nothing is Trump's fault including who he hires.

Doesn't matter what Bolton heard - the fact is that Trump has been tougher on China than anybody. Look at him going after China on COVID, on trade, on North Korea, etc, etc.
Tell me what Obama, or Clinton, or Biden ever did against China.

Whatever Trump said is because he has very little wiggle room - his worthless predecessors who gave everything away to China ensured that.
Meanwhile, look at Trump's political allies like Rubio, Cruz, Bannon, etc - they've been very aggressive on going after China over the Uighurs, while Democrats stayed silent.
So you can judge Trump by his team. Pompeo, for example, has been very vocal against China on the Uighur issue.

IMO, Pompeo debased himself, his office, and the United States with that official release from his office under his name. That's what I'm commenting about.

I didn't make any claim about his effectiveness otherwise because it's not the subject. He could have responded to Bolton's claims by pointing out the foreign policy successes under himself and Trump. He chose a different path and to baselessly call a former cabinet official a traitor. That act puts him squarely into the deplorable ass kissing sycophant category IMO.

No. Again, it's shameful in fact what Pompeo did, and I'd be embarrassed if I was stupid enough to fall for his non-denial denial. YMMV, obviously. Doesn't matter who he "cleared" it with, it's not a denial and calling someone a traitor with zero specific allegations shames Pompeo, the office, and the U.S.

It's not about what that rear end kissing sycophant Pompeo cares about, but whether the rest of us demand more from a Sec. of State than baseless allegations that someone is a "traitor" without providing specifics or evidence.
