I just read the Splendid and the Vile, about the Battle of Britain. Churchill insisted on watching the bombings from the top of his residence, despite the bombs dropping all about him. Very different from Trump hiding in his bunker and only venturing out after police had driven all the unarmed, peaceful protesters away.

Donald Trump, you're no Winston Churchill.

That is a deliberate lie. They have all been riots. There hasn't been a peaceful protest in this country since at least 2010. Everyone of them is a rioter violating the law and they should be put down like rabid dogs.

The so-called "peaceful protest" is the Fake News. There hasn't been one in a decade. When they violate the law they are rioting, not peacefully protesting despite what the Democrat sycophants in the media tell you.

I've read you guys say:
1) Trump didn't order the troops in.
2) Trump ordered the troops in.
3) Barr ordered the troops in in the morning.
4) The DOJ (headed by Barr) ordered the troops in
5) Barr didn't order the troops in, it was someone else at the DOJ
6) It was troops carrying out a police action so it doesn't conflict the 1st Amendment
7) It was National Guard and they are not police
8) It was National Guard and they are not a proper military force.

"Democrat sycophants in the media" - does that include foreign press / American priests etc? And what do you count as a "peaceful protest?" What about Colin Kapaernick "taking the knee" at football grounds? What law was he breaking and what violence was he committing?

"Democrat sycophants in the media" includes 98% of everyone in US media today, as they declared themselves as either Democrat or liberal. Only 2% of the media self-identifies as Republican or conservative. Which also means that 98% of everything reported by the media is a deliberate lie and Fake News by the enemy of the people.

It is only considered a peaceful protest when they abide by the law. Which is not something happening today. Everywhere, from Minneapolis, to St. Louis, to Atlanta, to New York City, the anti-American leftist scum are violating the law and rioting. There are no peaceful protests occurring anywhere. When you have anti-American leftist Mayors encouraging these riots by telling the police to stand-down it requires the actions of the Governor to step in with the National Guard, and if the Governor refuses then the federal government will assume control of the anarchy created by leftist scum at every level.

It isn't CS gas, those were banned in 1997. So it is most likely just a smoke grenade. If it helps disperse a lawless, violent mob, then by all means the police should use it.

Since when have priests ever concerned themselves with the law? Or do you consider child molestation to be a lawful act?

Those who are posting on the looting, as if that’s the story, are trying to distract from the actual story. The point is yet another black person has died at the abusive hands of police. Thousands of people of all races and ages are enraged. These protests are a conversation by Americans of the continued injustice toward black citizens. They experience death by power and authority, offenses and micro-aggressions daily. The violence being committed is a distraction by criminals from the palpable story - the reality and terror of racism in the U.S. By and large, these 50 state demonstrations are peaceful. This is the story.

At least that was a lawful peaceful protest. He still should have been fired on the spot, but it was a lawful peaceful protest. Which is not something that is happening today.

Today there are only riots and rioters, and they need to be put down by force.

Tell me about the laws. It was once a law in Montgomery to segregate the races on public buses. A black person attempting to sit in the front of the bus was violating the law -- until there was a massive boycott that changed the law.

As for looting, there remains legal looting. In Minneapolis, it was found that the city needed more tax revenue, so they required the police to give out more tickets, which was imposed on the poor residents. That's looting; Pay-day loans are also looting; Credit card interest of 24% is looting -- all inflicted on the poorest. The Coronavirus Stimulus package allow some of the nation’s wealthiest to avoid nearly $82 billion of tax liability in 2020, while the middle class pick up the bill. That's looting.

Actually, you are referring to an ordinance that was once part of the city of Montgomery, not a law. Woolworth's also had policy prohibiting the serving of blacks at their lunch-counter in Greensboro, North Carolina. Again, it was a store policy, not a law.

Both the ordinance in Montgomery and Woolworth's policy were changed, not because blacks destroyed their own neighborhood and became violent and rioted like today, but because of lawful peaceful protests.

Are we sure it is blacks behind the looting and mayhem? Last weekend, CNN HQ was damaged. We know that the right-wing doesn't like CNN, not liberals.

Twitter suspended the account the other day, but that tweet had gone viral, and it set people off who were concerned about violence in their communities and allowed people — including the president — to then say that they were going to target Antifa, deploy the military and so on.

The ways in which we see these extremist groups trying to co-opt a moment like this and use it to spread not just disinformation, but also hate and actual violence, is a sad trend that has been happening over and over again over the last few years.”
