Trump took shelter in White House bunker as protests raged

Well, can't have it both ways. Either the president was following 'protocol' and hiding like a sissy or he just happened to be inspecting the bunker as per his latest claim.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said it’s “false” he was taken to a White House bunker for his safety amid protests in Washington, DC, last Friday. Trump said he was in the bunker “more for an inspection.”

“I was there for a tiny, short little period of time,” Trump said. “They said it would be a good time to go down and take a look because maybe sometime you’re going to need it.”

So just as happened with disinfectant and UV, the president says or does something, half the internet snaps to his defense and thinks of ways to 'mansplain' it, then two days later he changes his story and throws them all under a bus.

I love the smell of Lysol in the morning...

I don't really much care. I've accepted that no matter what, Trump is wrong and to blame. Details vary, but the schtick's the same, so it just doesn't matter.

Why would I believe a politician? I don't think President Trump has lied the 18,000 or 20,000 times that so many of the Trump haters claim.

But I freely acknowledge he lies. Probably several times more often than the average person.

Yes, I do know that "presidential" can refer to the appropriate gravitas due the office, but the fact is that Trump is the President of the United States while Biden...is not.

It is true that Trump is the incumbent. But, both are candidates to be president in January 2021. I am comparing the two candidates in terms of character. The choice will be made in November. My prediction—Trump will go the way of Ford, Carter, and H. W. Bush. One term and out.

Even more mind boggling, is that even after he says he was just punking them, his mansplainers on the board continue to defend his original statements. They refuse to change their narrative even after he corrects them.

There are those who understand his shtick perfectly. He's a results guy and doesn't care what he has to say to get them. Leftists don't get this and they never will, and that's why they're always ignored.
