The designation could put Antifa — short for anti-fascist — under the domestic terror label laid out in the 2001 USA Patriot Act, which allows federal law enforcement agencies to target the entire organization.
However there is no law on the books specifically against providing support to domestic terrorist organizations — unlike foreign terror groups.
Shortly after Trump’s tweet, Attorney General William Barr released a statement saying “violent radical elements” are hijacking legitimate protests to “pursue their own separate, violent, and extremist agenda.”
He said federal resources will be coordinated with state and local officials through the existing network of 56 regional FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces to apprehend and charge “the violent radical agitators.”

They're international and prone to violence so wouldn't underestimate them. Masks make the weak and ineffectual feel important and more bold..

“With the rioting that is occurring in many of our cities around the country, the voices of peaceful and legitimate protests have been hijacked by violent radical elements. Groups of outside radicals and agitators are exploiting the situation to pursue their own separate, violent, and extremist agenda.
It is time to stop watching the violence and to confront and stop it. The continued violence and destruction of property endangers the lives and livelihoods of others, and interferes with the rights of peaceful protestors, as well as all other citizens.
It also undercuts the urgent work that needs to be done – through constructive engagement between affected communities and law enforcement leaders – to address legitimate grievances. Preventing reconciliation and driving us apart is the goal of these radical groups, and we cannot let them succeed.
It is the responsibility of state and local leaders to ensure that adequate law enforcement resources, including the National Guard where necessary, are deployed on the streets to reestablish law and order. We saw this finally happen in Minneapolis last night, and it worked.
Federal law enforcement actions will be directed at apprehending and charging the violent radical agitators who have hijacked peaceful protest and are engaged in violations of federal law.
To identify criminal organizers and instigators, and to coordinate federal resources with our state and local partners, federal law enforcement is using our existing network of 56 regional FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF).
The violence instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups in connection with the rioting is domestic terrorism and will be treated accordingly.”

1. AntiFa is not an explicitly Marxist organisation but a very lose collection of groups with members of a variety of political orientations.
2. The First Amendment protects Marxist/Stalinist groups in the U.S.A the same way it protects Neo-Nazis and Neo-Fascists as advocacy of unpopular ideas is not the same as planning, preparing and engaging in acts of terrorism or violence against the U.S. government or members of the public. (Though the 1954 Communist Control Act is still on the statute books and its constitutionality has not been directly challenged in the Supreme Court).
3. Most Satanists I've met online are Pro-Trump and right-wing. They tend to believe in self-interest and so are more sympathetic to capitalism but are individualistic enough to take a "live-and-left-live" attitude which means you can get along with them. And no, they aren't widespread on University campuses.
As for "Neo-Stalinists", the term you are looking for is "Anti-Revisionist" in that they are reacting against the "revisionism" of Premier Khruschev's secret speech whilst preserving the Marxist-Leninist orthodoxy under Joseph Stalin in the U.S.S.R. They come in various flavours depending on which leader they support most (e.g. Maoism, Hoxhaism, Juche, etc.) and are ussually divided amnogst themselves due to various ideological disputes left over from fifty years ago or more. They have negligible influence based on members and resources even by the standards of the far left (already a joke in terms of U.S. politics). Based on what I can see on reddit, they have had something of a revival recently with more discussions of revisionist historians such as Grover Furr on denying atrocities such as the Ukrainian famine, but that's still basically inconsequential as far as mainstream U.S. politics is concerned.

Aside from the actual legal definition, I dont think the US has any actual Domestic Terrorism statutes.

If I'm not mistaken, those are pictures of the Austen Red Guards in Texas who have disbanded in 2018. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that has gutted the US Red Guards nationally.
