Protesters at White House push through barricade, climb on top of Secret Service vehicles


Protesters on Saturday afternoon converged at the White House and pushed security barricades farther down Pennsylvania Avenue, in one of many new protests to emerge around the country during the day Saturday — only hours after violent demonstrations rocked cities coast to coast on Friday night.


Trump said there would be MAGA supporters at the White House this evening, as well. Not going to end well, IMO.

It’s not officially summer yet. I was looking back to the riots in DC in 1968, they began just after the assassination of MLK. He was killed on 4APR68. We are almost two months later than that. I was a high school freshman and I remember that every store that sold wine or spirits had an 82nd ABN trooper, with fixed bayonet, stationed out front for a long time.

Barr goes back to Nixon. He was against the 8-0 Watergate ruling.

Trump is now lying and saying "80% of protesters are from out of state, and crossing state lines to commit crimes is a federal crime" to justify using federal force against a 1% rioters 99% peaceful protest of grassroot locals.
 
Guys, I don’t think this is going to end well. But that’s just my opinion.

We can learn a lot from China and how they handled the Hong Kong protests. These are more than thugs, they are criminals engaging in terroristic activities. They must be dealt with swiftly.

Never involved the Chinese military
Had 2 people shot over months of protests
Had multiple business's burnt
Had the Legislative building stormed and damaged

The Hong Kong protests lasted for months. Now you want the US to follow how Hong Kong handled the protests and riots?

Yup, bottom line. The leftist anarchist Antifa infiltrate, agitate and escalate. I hope D.C.'s mayor stops with her personal animus resistance to trump and gets every police force in the area to cooperate and quash any rioting.
