Chaos In Minneapolis: Looting Occurring In the City, Tear Gas Being Used

"Mababydindunutin so I am going to steal a TV".

Race riot, Racist riot, tomato to-mah-to.

When people riot, there are always underlying issues. This has been noted over and over again. For example, a professore when studing the riots in the Rodney King incident
said

But this misses the point. This sentiment, experts previously told me, underplays the real anger behind riots and urban uprisings. "People participate in this type of event for a real reason," Darnell Hunt, a UCLA professor who's studied the 1992 Rodney King riots in Los Angeles, said. "It's not just people taking advantage. It's not just anger and frustration at the immediate or proximate cause. It's always some underlying issues."

I have heard 'riots give a voice to the voiceless'. I don't know if it's true, but they happen when there is underlying issues in the community , quite often based on racial inequalities.

Rioting and looting are never the right answer to demand justice when reacting to an egregious event. What I never understood is many riots target the very community where the rioters live, and what positive outcome will there be when businesses are damaged, destroyed and looted?

Why don't you ask Colin Kaepernick how he thinks this should be handled?

He'll give you an excellent answer, but you won't like it, either.

Have you ever wondered what the impact would be on your psychology and resultant behavioral change after 20 years exposed to gratuitous violence and physical threats to your life on a daily basis? The job changes people and there isn’t adequate screening or help provided to ensure continuous mental fitness for it.

Interesting point.

Being crazy doesn't excuse killing someone, but the city should review everything that led to this event and see what can be learned.

Their mayor is quick and glad to race bait. It helps distract enough of the mindedness idiots who put him in office that he doesn't need to deal with the real issues of properly funding and supporting his city's institutions or take any accountability himself for any of the possible circumstances that facilitated this tragedy.

The cop has a history of issues.

He should have been removed a long time ago, but I'm sure he'll walk, just like Philando Castile's murderer walked.

Maybe you can ask all of the white college students who rioted and looted Keene, New Hampshire a few years ago. Thousands of them. Keene State students. All white. Looted businesses, destroyed property, ruined the town.

But they were white, and no conservative or Trump fan ever wants to talk about them when people like the OP can put their racism on display.

Interesting how the Mayor of Minneapolis is a Democrat but this is Trump's fault! Doesn't the Trump hatred have any end?

Giving up on your lying fest and over here to tinkle in your panties about your crush Trump?

I was talking about the original poster, and responding to someone's post about the OP. Do you even have 4 working brain cells to follow along?

Nobody said this was Trump's fault. Take your pair of Trump's dirty tighty whities and get back into your corner to chew on them some more.

Just another day in Trump Fan Nation

Why was Trump mentioned?

But is the Mayor of Minneapolis on top of what's going on in his city and its police department? Or has he been snoozing?

Why did you quote me? If you don't have access to the news or a Google button, ask someone else. I'm not here to educate.

My post had nothing to do with the Mayor, either. Your post is as stupid as Conservative's post was.

Why do you post stupid things?

The OP is a citizen of Trump Fan Nation, like you. I realize that you don't know what that means, but get someone else to explain it to you. I'm not here to educate the hopeless.

You are right, I have no idea what it means or why Trump is even mentioned in a thread about Minneapolis and racial violence even though posters in this forum have made that claim that Trump is responsible. Before educating the hopeless work on your own individual problems. You are posting in a public forum be a big enough person to take the criticism and accept the reality that economic results aren't something you understand nor apparently are the racial issues in Minneapolis a city with Democratic Leadership

How often does justice result in a simple acquittal of officers? That isn't justice.

in your opinion it is not justice.

Got to ask. If charges are brought up against an LEO are they guilty or are they innocent till proven guilty?

I know I'm right. You lie like a rug, and when you aren't lying, you're making stupid posts.

I hope that clears it up for you, but I am quite sure it won't.

This isn't the thread for you to start spamming your "economic results", either. We all laugh at you enough without you coming to a thread about looting in Minneapolis and posting your Trump Panty sniffing posts again.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if they protestors rocked up armed with semi automatic weapons, were wearing masks and body armour?

It depends on the neighborhood. Here, most "protestors" ARE armed. Now, if it was in my dads neighborhood in the county, they would be met with a barrage of 7.62 rounds. No need for police.

The start of summer with so many people unemployed right at this time is kindling for a bonfire to explode.

This killing was like a gas can tossed onto the embers.

The cop keeping his knee on the neck of the deceased is troubling but the fact that 3 other officers did not try to intervene when the deceased was gasping for air is even more troubling.

This is one big mess.

The rioting and looting doesn't make any sense. The incident has been condemned by all, four officers present (not just Chauvin) were fired, and the case was referred up for prosecution and to the FBI for review for civil rights violations. This isn't even a questionable case, and there's been no effort to 'sweep it under the rug'. All the rioting does is put people at risk and make the city look bad.

Just goes to show how radicalized the left has become, you are right, makes no sense at all but neither does liberalism any more

As long as they are not looting rioting and shooting people then nothing.
as usual you miss the entire point.

YOu have a right to protest you do not have a right to destroy other peoples property.
your non sequitur post is 100% debunked.

What's your position on the civil rights riots?
