Protests have turned into looting and destruction in Minneapolis on Wednesday following the death of George Lloyd, which appears to have been caused by a Minneapolis police officer putting his knee down into Lloyd's neck. This marks the second day where some protesters have turned into rioters. According to one local reporter, much of the area within the city's 3rd Precinct has been heavily vandalized and destroyed, with police having to use tear gas and flash bangs.

After tear gas was deployed to keep rioters away from the police's headquarters in the 3rd Precinct, they turned their attention to a Target and started to loot the store.

We haven't had a race riot since Obama was in office. The majority of Trump's first term saw radical groups like Black Lives Matter fade into the background, as police department's use of body cameras helped protect the country from black rage.

You mean “the use of body cameras helped hold police officers to a higher standard, and therefore lessened the number of incidents in which people were murdered”.

The fact that your reaction to someone’s throat being crushed is to babble about “black rage” says a lot about you.

Police are still involved in violent situations, and use of force is required in many of them. The difference is that lawyers seeking to cash in, and media companies looking for another Mike Brown, are cut off at the pass when police are wearing body cameras, because the overwhelming majority of police shootings are justified.

No other race riots in America over stories such as these. Consider when the blonde white woman was shot and killed in Minneapolis by a black police officer a few years ago, which was ruled unjustified, unlike the bulk of other police shootings. No one rioted, no one started a 'White Lives Matter' protest group, and the story quietly faded away. Same city, same interracial police homicide scenario, but no riots. Black rage indeed.

Hope I can stay up and watch the riots.I like riots.Unlike the rioters I have to get up early tomorrow and go to work.I wish they would riot earlier.

You're in Alabama and you don't know what black rage is? I find that hard to believe. Who commits the majority of crime in Birmingham? In the entire state? You'd have to be isolated like a hermit to not know the answer to that.

After watching that video, its a disgrace that the cop isnt in jail waiting for trial. It looks like murder to me.

The same thing that always happens. An angry mob loots and burns their own community. Then they go home to live in the ashes and complain that no one wants to invest money in developing those areas.

Yawn i grew up in alabama. Was never scared of black people and had more of my stuff broken and stolen by white people. They are not my enemy, you however.....
