President Trump asked aloud during a Rose Garden event Tuesday whether he should be taking insulin, which is used to treat diabetes.Trump made the unprompted musing while announcing a new federal-private initiative to cap costs at $35 a month — a roughly 66 percent reduction in costs.
“I don’t use insulin. Should I be? Huh? I never thought about it, but I know a lot of people are very badly affected,” Trump said at the event.

Does he ever think before he says stupid **** like this? I am surprised one of the reporters didn't answer "Only if you mix it with Clorox before you inject it."

“Let’s get these highly paid executives up here to give the answer,” Trump replied, ultimately asking Surgeon General Jerome Adams for an explanation.
“Your body, Mr. President, actually makes insulin endogenously and people such as you and I, we make our own insulin. So yes we do utilize insulin, but we make it ourselves,” Adams said, indirectlty saying there was no reason for Trump to be taking the drug.

Now the Good News is $35 a month for insulin. The claim that is a 66 percent reduction is bull****. I know numerous seniors pay several hundred for their insulin. The discount could well be 85% plus.

He needs to be tested and I don't mean for diabetes.

Why would some reporter ask Trump if he was taking insulin anyway?

That's a pretty personal thing to ask.

The reporter didn't ask him. He asked the reporter. He has no filter.

I get that Trump has no filter. Still, the reporter took his bait, didn't they?

In your rush to defend him, you are making a fool of yourself. Trump pulled the question out of his ass, And had you actually read the OP you would see the reporters didn't do anything.

So the POTUS engages a reporter in a conversation about insulin...and the reporter replies....they "took his bait"?

:lamo What a strange and bizarre world.

Where did I defend him? I agreed he has no filters.

Read your source again before you are so quick to label me a fool.
The reporter bit on Trump's bait. So, yes, instead of ignoring Trump's musings, a reporter bit on Trump bait.

First she's offended, then she switches to acting like trolling would be a good trait for a president.

Given the source we should not be surprised, but.....

These people are actively undermining the entire concept of democracy. Not just American democracy, but the concept. This is the faction Madison feared. They just don't care. The ugliness is the point. The blues and the greens all over again, but this time built around trolling, not chariot teams (see: Hippodrome; Romans; mid-late empire).

You should just back out of this thread, no one will remember your ignorance.

FFS why am I wasting oxygen on you?

"Well...never mind my last two lies. Try this one on for size."

Trump, like a relative of mine by marriage, cannot internalize his anger.

Trix needs to call for some help, cause this certainly isn't going how she thought it would.

You know, cause she doesn't actually understand anything that would make Trump look bad.

Just 5 more minutes of reading. But nooooooo, she needs to try to get a W on the liberals somehow.

As Mr.Person said: completely undermining the whole concept of democracy.
