Biden Says Black Voters ‘Ain’t Black’ if They’re Considering Trump

Tried to warn you guys.

If Biden wins it will be purely off Trump hate.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

Plenty wrong with that. It's a no win situation for society. The special interests bank roll one awful, unpalatable candidate who has some hold over the Christian right. And then the same special interests bank roll another completely awful candidate, effectively giving people the illusion of choice. Doesn't matter who wins, they still win. The people lose either way.

Just watched the actual clip,

This is nothing, it's not racist, it's Biden trying to make a joke.....cmon man, seriously?

Yeah, but it was done poorly and it's 2020, you have to parse "jokes" through 2020 optics. Something like this wasn't going to play well. It was a dumb comment, he should have skipped it.

No one disagrees it was a stupid thing to say.

That said, Biden needs to publicly take responsibility for his remark and change the narrative
I agree. I'm still voting for Biden. He'd have to say so much worse to get me to not vote for him.

This is likely to hurt him some but then again, there is this.

I think you guys are going to find out that people aren't that afraid of Trump and the Republicans. Yes, people hate Trump because he's socially inept and stubbornly ignorant. But, the most convincing argument you have over lasting damage to the Republic is based around the courts. And that is too abstract a concept for most people to get motivated in Nov. Combine that with the dumpster fire of Biden speaking on camera and you're gonna run into one thing and one thing only. Negative partisanship. And when have Democrats ever hated Republicans more than Republicans hate Democrats?

I guess, to me, people who take offense to it, are snowflakes, and people who tried to read too much into it, are hacks.

Re: Biden Says Black Voters “Ain’t Black” if They’re Considering Trump

I promise to care about what Biden says, right after any Trump supporter cares about what he says.
I guess I won't have to worry much, at all.

Re: Biden Says Black Voters “Ain’t Black” if They’re Considering Trump

The difference is Biden is not joking or trolling. What he says is for real. Just think what will happen if he ever leaves quarantine? It must be terrifying to you.

Yeah, Trump is always joking. Please. You can't be that intellectually bankrupt.

Well I could imagine that black people may take offense to being told how to be black.

But most of the outrage coming from the right is just propaganda over a gaffe, which happens all the time.

That being said, Biden has to conduct himself by 2020 standards, this was a poor "joke" at best and was never going to play well. He needs to understand that and adjust his comments.

Abstract? Let me explain why I am voting against trump and why I care about this election.

I see the corruption and decay of this administration and the continued destruction of government institutions and I get angry... no more then angry. I consider it an attack on my personal being.

I consider every action of trump and this administration as a personal betrayal of what I consider to American values.

I consider the disregard of the public interest as a betrayal of the what the founding fathers fought for during the Revolution.

Government has a duty, an obligation to serve the people, to be its shield against those who wish to harm them or rob them.

Trump and his administration.... sickens me to my core.

I cannot accept this administration, I oppose it with every core of my being.

Principles, ideals, what America stands for. That is why I support the Democratic Party and that is why I want biden to win.

That is I wish I was one of his campaign staff advising him and advocating what he should do.

Re: Biden’s racially charged quip to African-American interviewer brings instant backlash

Nobody on the left cares.
But it is a huge event for the conservatives.

Of course not. The democrats consider this normal, and their black voters just say: "Yes, massa."

I agree with Joe Biden. If there's any black people in this country that don't understand that Donald Trump doesn't give 2 ****s about black people then they've been living without news for the past 4 years. He's the most racist president in modern history. The only president more racist than Trump was .... um, nobody.

Trump insulted Elijah Cummings because Cummings was Chair of the committee doing oversight on Trump himself. He referred to the inner city of Baltimore, Maryland which was Cummings' congressional district as a 'rodent infested mess'. These people that live in inner city low-income neighborhoods don't choose to live in rat-infested apartments. They don't 'aspire' to live in a ghetto but they have little options. They're poor, period. Trump's words and deeds are typical of any white suburban male, they generally regard cities similar to Baltimore as a violent hellhole in full collapse, not worth further federal funding because the majority of people that live there are non-white. And they blame 50-plus years of Democratic dominance for the mess. Where was Trump's plan to help Baltimore? Where was his republican senate in putting together a bipartisan stimulus package for these 'rodent infested mess'? It's so easy to point to a poor, decrepit neighborhood and cast blame, but when you're the president, it's your job to confront the situation no matter how challenging, and ****ing do something about it.

There's countless instances of Trump's total disregard for the plight of black men, women and children in this country. The SNAP food assistance program was cut. The school lunch program wasn't entirely cancelled but many guidelines and qualifications were rolled back, so many children don't qualify for the lunch program. The republicans want to make Obamacare illegal, they have their sights set on scaling back Medicare, Medicaid and S.S. as well. This is a government that is heavy with graft, corruption, greed and just plain crimes.

Bringing this back to the black voters.....I think Joe Biden was exactly right. Any black man or woman that votes for Trump in the upcoming election doesn't have a clue as to how racist, bigoted and anti-minority this entire administration has been since Trump was elected and I doubt very much there are very many of them. Equality is only for white men under Trump. No blacks, browns, yellow or red Americans will ever be seen equally through the eyes of Republicans who only view white, Christian-Americans with any consideration.

There's an old saying. 'If you're not sitting at the dinner table then you're probably on the menu'. Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans and Asians were never allowed to sit at the table.

Re: Biden Says Black Voters “Ain’t Black” if They’re Considering Trump

Ben Shapiro: Arbiter of real Jews.
Dave Rubin: Arbiter of real gays being oppressed.
Donald Trump: Arbiter of 'nice people' (ie. folks marching with nazis).
Biden: Lol, you ain't black if you ain't voting for me.

Define "modern" history.

Yeah, nothing racist about that.

Just another thread of Biden hate from right wingers.

They have to be stretching hard to be offended by that, in my opinion....he wasn't telling anyone how to be, he was saying If you have to question between him and Trump, then you ain't black, it's ridiculous, its hyperbole, it's not racist, it shouldn't be offensive at all, but some people will go out of there way to be hurt by it, it's nonsense.

Re: Biden Says Black Voters “Ain’t Black” if They’re Considering Trump

Democrats really need to stop putting people into categories- we’re all human

Vote based on what you believe, not your own skin color. MSNBC will go on and on about who’s winning black female voters over 50 with a college degree, Hispanic male voters under 30 without a college degree, etc - All that stuff does is divide us up and cut into our ability to think for ourselves

Why are you defending racist comments? aren't you supposed to hate racist comments?

Yes and Cumming referred to the city as infested so is cummings racist now?

Tim Scott
“And President Trump comes along, and through his criminal justice reform, corrects the absolute mistakes made by Joe Biden; 1.3 million African-Americans voted for Trump," Scott said. "He’s saying to 1.3 million African-Americans that you are not black? Who in the heck does he think he is? That is the most arrogant, outrageous comment that I’ve heard in a very long time and I take offense to that.”

So you support racism now? interesting very interesting. ol racism is ok as long asyou are doing it.

Actually they have been sitting there for a while.
Your saying is a little out of date.
