Trump lauds notorious anti-Semite Henry Ford’s ‘good bloodlines’

Yes he was condemned for his anti-semitism at the time. His success in business and use of good technology at the time (conveyor belts) does not erase that.

Hitler's influence is still present today too, even with some posters on this very board.

Then you have a very superficial view of what condemnation is if Ford was "condemned" at the time.

facts state otherwise.

Refer to my earlier comments regarding your posting of nonsense. This will be the last time I remind you. Peace.

I think all Trump ever does is pull **** from thin air. I don't think there is an ounce of thought put into his words. Ignorance just happens to play well to white supremacists.

given that leftist are some of the most ignorant people i know so this is a hole in your argument.

Please explain.

Sure... :) I dislike Trump. I enjoy watching his comeuppance, especially when it comes from his supporters...who are getting their comeuppance for supporting him. Trump was a hero at the start of his administration for his unwavering support of that asshole Netanyahu, the to vexation of the global community. Now he's on the ropes for praising one of the fathers of eugenics.

Here's hoping this means one less demographic for him to count on in the next election. And here's hoping that one more demographic has learned to distrust populism.

Really? So when athletes are talked about as having the sports blood in them due to their parents, or other family connections, that's racist?

Is "success" in business a genetic trait?

What would be the evolutionary pressure that resulted in that?

Hunger for status within the group is genetic, but that has been more of a problem than anything else since we settled down and started growing our food. One thing led to another and we lost our ability to say "no" to those with this hunger when they take too much of what everybody produces to feed their Jones for things that prove they are better and to pay armed men to enforce their hungers.

Your comment then is irrelevant. The facts state otherwise.
If you don't like people commenting on your posts then i suggest you quit posting.
It seems that you cannot handle any counter argument to your claims.

The Ford family is a nice family and a highly respected family.
They were one of the people that helped build this nation into what it is.

They were a major help in WWII and they continue to this day to be a postive force in our nation as
they employ thousands and keep millions of jobs in this country as well.

so as i said facts state otherwise.

He definitely does himself and his supporters no favors when he starts a sentence before he knows where he will end it.

They just think he does it on purpose to poke liberals.

Got to give credit where it's due: The conditioning that conservative media has done in the past thrity yrmears is the ugliest thing of beauty I have ever seen.

They will literally believe anything. Even if it is the exact opposite of what they believed yesterday. And never bat any eye. They just get mad at you if you point it out.

Brilliantly evil.

What do bloodlines have to do with success?

Careful, we're really close to the curtain. That guy doesn't want us to know he's there.

I think there is a genetic element.

Whcih is why children of trophy wives tend to be less competent than their fathers. Better looking, but less effective.

But you are dancing around the idea that superiority is just a matter of lineage. Which history shows us is not true and runs counter to "anybody can make it" and makes you wonder why they need to donate so much to politicians in order to succeed.

Lots of rich and powerful folks believe it though.

Blood lines? Absolutely nothing, but that's if you subscribe to the notion that everything that is said ever, is literal.

Of course you can make the argument that the left and the liberal media is exactly the counter opposite.....

The problem is your argument falls apart when guys like me, don't watch conservative media for news.....or liberal media for news.....

So your objection is his use of the word blood line and not what Ford actually did in his life?

I'm wondering how "bloodlines" got into his head in the first place.

I would guess that he heard something about Ford's eugenics ideas that included the word "bloodlines" "pipelines" sounds like something kings have, ford was a king of industry, so he must have good bloodlines.

Or some such inanity.

I've taken to trying to figure out what trump actually heard somewhere than led to some of the things he says. It's pretty clear he only half listens to what is said to him and frequently takes things out of the context in which they were originally said and runs the wrong way with them.

Which frequently results in a 24 hour delay for his narrative managers to come up with the latest "So what had happened was...". And he often promptly admits that it was what it originally sounded like he said the next day. Sending those NMs rushing back to their keyboards again.

Its in his blood.

Trump is a "blood and soil" nationalist.

Yeah it makes my head hurt listening to him meander in and out of the English language. I imagine his syntax in writing is horrid.
That said, he does land on a chestnut every now and again, out of sheer volume of verbiage.

That's what makes this statement especially egregious to me. His normal word salad can be put down to ignorance, but this one was very specific. I think nap got it right here, he was obviously fed this line.

Regardless, it was an horrendous thing to say.

Trumper strawmans the rest of the world. Shocker.

Anti-Trumper degrades anything and everything Trump said, taking some of it literal when it fits their perspective, and some of it figuratively when it fits their narrative.

Shocker.

Poor, poor Trump. I bet you're a victim like that too, aren't ya?

Nope, I'm just not hypocritical like you.

Poor, poor guys. I just don't know how Trump and Trumpers can stand all the unfair criticism. It's like everyone is out to get them. But such is the life of a stable genius, right?

Hey,here's your chance to NOT be hypocritical, Biden is a racist, didn't you hear?

Here's your chance to not be a victim vortex cheerleader. Has Trump ever said anything racist?

Probably, but are you going to condemn Biden? Of course not, that's because you are being hypocritical.....
