States tell workers they'll lose unemployment benefits if they refuse to return to jobs

lol. The actual law is employment at the Will of either party. Only the right wing never gets it.
Yeah. The actual law also says you don't get $15 an hour to sit at home on your butt in perpetuity :)

The actual law gives the "lie" to any agency of any State which may believe they can deny or disparage our privileges and immunities through unequal protection of the laws.

Why do you believe you need to care how the Poor make their money if you don't feel any need to care about the Rich and their money.

All States have equal protection of the laws or that equivalent. No agency of any State has any authority to deny or disparage our privileges and immunities through unequal protection of the laws.

Please show the law that ties "at will" employment with unemployment compensation.

You haven't done so for months ...

What is being denied or disparaged by following the labor laws?

It is a self-evident Truth; I thought y'all were simply trolling. I love to practice not merely for the sake of equality but also superiority, should it be necessary in that venue.

No State agency has any right to make up its own rules regardless of the law, especially when arbitrary and capricious through unequal protection of the laws.

You are rambling.

Where in the Labor code does it tie "at will" employment to unemployment compensation?

LoL. The Democrats are willing to make "honest citizens" of them through equal protection of the laws.

I used to think that too. It is not true.

Have you considered this about laws? Kings made laws, dictators made laws but in America an enclave in DC makes laws. What is the difference in the Dictator and the enclave?

The entire idea behind this country is groups of people living in rather small groups compared to the size of the entire nation, make local laws. And the Feds stay out of those laws by the locals. I am more a fan of local law than laws imposed by the enclave in DC.

In NORMAL times when there is NO (ZERO) threat to one's loved ones at home who have health issues- you seem to avoid this crucial point...

Car dealerships are considered 'essential' so the tag is a bit meaningless so no if health conditions are not met then it is really risky to do the job. Some note businesses in the early opening states want blanket immunity from suits due to covid infections if they re-open, they aren't driven by political dogma but profit and massed lawsuits are not good for their bottom line...

Blah blah blah, pure rabid right poppycock- the latest round of tax cuts enacted during a time of prosperity has not increased revenue but run a deep and wide river of red ink. pennies for most of us and a windfall to the upper 1%... :doh
And more PPP.

A better question is where does a State agency tie unequal protection of the laws to any benefits administered for the public Good?

There is no "unequal protection of the laws" in unemployment compensation.

Where in the Labor code does it tie "at will" employment to unemployment compensation?

This is the result of paying people not to work. At what point would these employees be expected to return to work as opposed to living off the state.

They would return when it is known to be safe to return. Forcing them to return to work when there is a pandemic and many of their coworkers are sick and dying doesn't meet that level.

Yup. "Employment" being that which earns you income. :)

What contract did you sign that says you don't have employment at the will of either party?
