Here we go again. Before the peak of the virus hits, and people dying left and right, Trump hater Schiff wants......wait for it.....ANOTHER INVESTIGATION!!

"Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff suggested the creation of a commission to examine the federal government's response to the coronavirus pandemic that has sickened thousands of U.S. citizens.

“We will need to delay the work of the commission until the crisis has abated to ensure that it does not interfere with the agencies that are leading the response,” Schiff said in an email to the Washington Post. “But that should not prevent us from beginning to identify where we got it wrong and how we can be prepared for the next pandemic.”

I suppose he could have waited for a while (in fact, I wish he would).

But investigating this is going to be a long term undertaking, and it will unwind a lot of threads in this corrupt, incompetent Administration and its serial malfeasance.

We spent four years investigating the deaths of four Americans during the Benghazi attack. We can spend a little time investigating the deaths of around 200,000 Americans when all is said and done.

When we have an emergency in the hospital, we have a debriefing.

What worked well?
What didn't work?
Were there any delays in service?
Were there ant equipment issues?
(etc)

Why should this be any different? Given that pandemic is such a huge issue....it should take a commission or such for the evaluation.


BTW, there will be a lot of GOOD feedback as well.

Emotionally healthy grown-ass men and women should be able to take the bad with the good.
 
why in the world would a branch of our government want to know if Americans died needlessly?

He has been the best thing for the republican party more so than joe biden gafes.

Good! He should start filing lawsuits ASAP to force the Trump administration to comply with document and witness requirements. This is where the ball was dropped at the impeachment.
