The first instance of the word 'not' is in your post, and not in 'Fred C Dobbs II's post.

You are asserting that that the word 'not' was in 'Fred C Dobbs II's post? I'm not seeing it there. Nor does he use the word competence either.

He further states 'Most people will hire competence over gender' which goes directly against your interpretation of his post, does it not? He goes on to state his opinion as to why Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton were weak candidates, by 'blaming their loss on their gender', which appears to be a true statement, they did exactly that.

It appears to me that you are reading into someone's post what you want to be there which clearly is not there.

In my post above, gender isn't even mentioned, I only mention the scourge of US politics, identity politics, as practiced by Democrats and leftists, and nothing more.

Are you asserting that 'identity politics' = 'women unqualified'? This is a false equivalency, as those two things are distinct from each other.

Your post proves my assertion that you are reading into someone else's post what you want to be there, but which clearly is not there.

What if he said this ... “Know what I was most proud of? For eight years, there wasn’t one single hint of a scandal or a lie.” about his tenure as VP?
Would that be dishonest?

No it doesn't. I never heard or read anything anywhere about Tulsi Gabbard leaving the Democratic Party - which is all the DNC is.

You are moving the goalposts. Unless Joe Biden was actually part of a scandal during his 8 years as the Vice President, that part is true. And there wasn't. He was never under investigation between 2009 and 2017.

Joe Biden is the one who is drawing a distinction between "most qualified candidate" and "a woman".

When someone says they will select "the most qualified candidate" they are in no way excluding women. When someone says they will name a "Black woman" they are saying they intend to use a standard other than "the most qualified candidate".

I did not see anything that you quoted in his post that suggests he thinks women in general are incompetent to be Vice President or President. His point is that Biden should choose a competent running mate, be that a man or a woman. Neither the hildabeast or pochohontas are competent.

Kind of hard to be under investigation when the Obama Justice Dept and FBI covered for them and Obama refused to push for a special prosecutor. One Biden example of a scandal was when he blackmailed the Ukranian president to fire a prosecutor tasked with investigating Burisma.

Spend a lot of time thinking about the topic before you post. There is absolutely no link between Burisma and Joe Biden's ability to pick a very competent vice president.
