Substantively, Biden made strong, persuasive arguments on two issues: the need for virus testing here at home and American leadership on public health across the globe. Trump continues to treat testing cavalierly and as a result, his administration has been sluggish in pushing for it, allowing the crisis to get worse.

Cons slinging baseless accusations at their opponent isn't anything new.

Fox News, the Drudge Report, and a slew of conservative or conspiracy-theory themed sites on the internet are raising questions about Clinton's medical fitness to be president, pointing ominously to scenes of Clinton tripping on a stair, laughing ("inappropriately," one suspicious doctor says), hesitating in the middle of a sentence in a speech or having an unidentified man stand close to her despite not looking like a Secret Service agent.

The problem, of course, is that none of the deeply concerned observers has actually examined Clinton, whose personal physician last year released a statement calling the former secretary of state in "excellent health and fit to serve as president of the United States."

Someone recently remarked that Joe Biden had always wanted to be the Democrat Presidential candidate and that it was too bad Joe wasn't all there to enjoy it.

And I would say that to a point, they're correct.
I feel for Joe in much of this. The man has wanted to be president for a while now and he had gotten close to being just that when he was made VP. But now he's just not as capable as he was all those years ago.

In my opinion he should just retire at this point.

He’s not ahead of anyone, he is not capable of leading the country. And he’s getting worse. We are lucky to have a great President like Trump running things now. Biden would be overwhelmed.

Yes he should have retired at the end of the Obama Administration but the Democrats must have felt there was no where else to go. I suspect he's just a fill in candidate while they do their rebuilding in time for 2024. They knew they had no one who could share a stage with Trump.

LOL! Have you see him recently? Since my post he seems to have gotten much worse. You don't seem to be paying attention. I just can't believe that this guy could possibly be the Democrat nominee. He is more confused, forget's what he is talking about mid sentence, and is just obviously in no shape to be in any position of responsibility. I mean, go ahead, put him on the ticket. He is not capable of being President. Plenty of people will see this on election day.

You'd say that type of crap about your brother if he had a D after his name. As for me I don't care much about party, haven't in many years and Trump is the worst pile of **** to be in office ever. We got exactly what we deserved 8n that POS.

I literally sat with my jaw agape as I watched the president's last live press conference. He was a complete rambling moron devoid of ideas or understanding who failed to answer even the easiest questions.

The scary thing is I don't think he was dodging; when asked for concrete numbers or to outline a process, he thought a long string of superlatives about how wonderful this team is or what a great job so-and-so is doing was an answer because he didn't understand the question or didn't have anything else to say. Utter disconnect.

Now, of course, I'm just disagreeing with your assessment and I know it's natural we each see different things when we watch a leader speak. I did not see a leader speak. I barely saw an adult speak at all.

Well, that stupid observation is wrong. Your assessment of Trump is just as bad. Your attempt to divert away from Biden's condition is noted. So, does he seem capable of being POTUS, to you?

Thank God we are not stuck with Biden right now. The guy is incapable of even making through scripted broadcasts from his living room, can you imagine how bad it would be for the country to see him failing on a daily basis in front of the world? Trump is engaged, in control, and on point. He's the leader we need at this moment in history.

Nahh, those are just hollow words. Trump is a failed experiment......horrible failure at that. I mean truthfully Carter was better and I'm still bent about the canal. Anyway Biden is lightyears ahead of Trump in every way and quite capable of being an excellent president....go Biden.

Biden will certainly win over the open borders crowd, those who believe there was never any wrongdoing by the FBI, that Adam Schiff is an honest politician, that random charges of rape and treason are acceptable strategies against political opponents and that Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and AOC have the nation's best interests at heart. Others may be more politically aware.
