Maybe this explanation is simple enough: It is unacceptable for a congressperson to threaten members of Scotus. If that doesn't work for you, try imagining Trump said it against his two favorite Scotus targets.

What Schumer said was a direct threat to two justices. Trump did not threaten anyone.

Best ask Schumer for clarification on how he would "hit" them. What do think "hit" means or what price they will pay?

Trump didn't make threats against individuals. That was not his intent.

Trump sought to degrade the institution by undermining the integrity of the justices. His offence, threat even, was against America not individuals.

He said two justices should recuse themselves on anything related to himself. Not a very big deal..

So you feel he was threatening violence to a Supreme Court Judge. Many agree with you, which is why they are calling for a resignation, a censure, impeachment, etc.

Surprising, but at least well-worded.

Schumer = Criminal scum

But even criminal scum have free speech rights.

I do feel, however, that Schumer should have been censured (at the very least) for dog-whistling a Deep State attack on Trump in 2017.

Listen to them both. One is a threat the other is an opinion. It really is not that difficult for a unbiased human being to see.

He is also the asshole that saved obamacare from being shot down buy interpreting the law instead of reading it and saying it is unconstitutional to penalize an individual.
