Ukraine court forces probe into Biden role in firing of prosecutor Viktor Shokin

Excepting bribes and money laundering is illegal for American politicians.

And that swamp has plenty that needs draining on both sides.
Here's bipartisan organization that's trying to do that.

Oversight reports
OpenTheBooks has successfully completed multiple financial reports on different government agencies and programs. Notably, the organization has helped to uncover fraudulence and wasteful spending at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Other transparency impacts include: farm subsidies in New York City, Chicago, and Washington D.C.;[9] $24.2 billion in failed lending at the Small Business Administration;[10] quantified $1.2 trillion in federal payments to the top 100 of the Fortune 500;[11] found $92 million in high-end furniture purchases by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency;[12] the Export-Import Bank of U.S.;[13] quantified $4.5 billion in federal agency spending on public relations;[14] found $1.5 billion spent by non-military federal agencies outside the Department of Defense on guns, ammunition and military-style equipment;[15] quantified federal payments of nearly $27 billion into America's Sanctuary Cities;[16] and found $42 billion in federal subsidies, tax-breaks and payments flowed into the eight Ivy League colleges.[17]

Man, I ran into government frauds and cheats repeatedly when I was doing contracts for the city. My small company had just finished a remodel/landscaping contract for a city owned golf course. Included in that project was planting 175 Knockout roses, provided by the city. The Director of Parks and Recreation walked up to me and said, "If anybody asks, you planted 300 roses." Don't know if the additional roses ever existed, and went into private hands, or his department simply fraudulently billed the city for the roses. Didn't much care, I needed city contracts to keep my small crew working.

I also did some roofing jobs for the city that listed twice as much roofing as we used on the job.

I couldn't afford to raise a stink or say anything back then.

Government at every level has some crooks in it. Just a feature of humanity, I guess.

And now lies and cheating have become mainstream, and they'll continue as long as they're publicly accepted..

Lying and cheating have always been mainstream. There are always "efforts" to slow it down, and sometimes an elected crook goes to jail, but there is always another crook waiting in the wings to take his place. Taxpayers can't take off work to keep an eye on how and where their tax money is spent, and no one else will watch it very close. So the incentives all lean toward corruption.

Democrats wanted Donald Trump Jr. investigated at enth about a brief and useless meeting with a Russian lawyer but have no interest in the Bidens collecting millions of dollars from the Ukraine and China.

That demonstrates how clearly corruption can be publicly acceptable if its 'your side' doing the profiting.

And it was Trump's job to investigate Biden...

On what grounds? Nepotism is not a crime, just ask Ivanka and her pencil neck husband.

We dont know yet, thats why he was investigating. Duh...

You screamed witch hunt for months on this forum in regards to Muellers investigation. Now you endorse one as it suits your political lean. I think most of us have your number, hypocrisy.
