I certainly hope he is right. And then I hope he recognizes the importance of having recognizable programs and people in place to deal with matters that are beyond his limited scope. Don't you?

There's no proof Bolton let a few teamsters go to cut costs anymore than there's proof that Trump cut funds to the CDC.

I don't think his scope is limited anymore than the community organizer's was limited. They both had/have the same goals, only different ways in order to meet those goals, but if you don't like him, you know what to do. Be sure and vote.

Trump claims to know more than the Generals. Trump claims to know more than the scientists. The "community organizer" recognized the need for expert help in his administration, without crazy loyalty tests, and an immature need to get rid of anything Bush did. Trump is very limited by his own mental incapacity to recognize that he needs help, and his constant need for adoration. This keeps him from being effective in his office. It is sad that people who masquerade as intelligent can't recognize that very big difference.

I haven't missed a vote yet, this won't be the first. Good luck with yours out in California.

No, it wasn't about me. It was about a Democrat going on national TV and physically threatening to beat up DT Jr. for his comments this morning on Fox and Friends.

"He should not be near me when he says that," Garamendi responded. "There would be a serious altercation. That is just totally outrageous. That is totally outrageous."

You could substitute Obama's name in the above in a couple of spots.
So yeah, I do get away with saying exactly what I wrote because from my vantage point, it's true. They both care about the people, the country, but have different methods on how best to achieve their goals.

My vote won't count in CA. but I know many conservatives just like me who live in CA. who are voting for Trump anyway instead of sitting it out like 2016.

I think the point most of us care about isn't what excuse the Trump administration used for gutting that team of experts, but that they did and didn't bother replacing them until another crisis hit.

Here's one of those experts, Luciana Borio, just before she was effectively fired in 2018:

“The threat of pandemic flu is the number one health security concern,” she told the audience. “Are we ready to respond? I fear the answer is no.”

Please listen to the tape again. After Donald Trump Jr. made the outrageous claim that democrats like to see people die, Garamendi responded that there would be a serious altercation
(dictionary definition: noisy argument) if he said that in his presence. Where did the threat of physical violence come in? Oh yes....from the Fox people.
