It's a two tiered system. The rich and powerful rarely face the same repercussions as the normal citizen.

There are various majorities from which one can benefit. White, male, old and hetero all help. The economic majority power is the 1%; that would help even more than the others but only if there's not a bigot on jury and there will be. Ain't no random group without a bigot of some sort. In this case, it was all that and a bag of Doritos.

Because after numerous partisan investigations she was not found guilt of anything. She is either A. the smartest savviest woman on the plant, B. the republican investigators were incompetent, or C. she didn't do any of the things she was accused of.

I go for C.

Actually what happened was, Hillary got off scot-free, while any normal government employee would have gone to Leavenworth for operating an unsecure private email server containing top secret data. Stone got more than Clinton for doing far less.

Martha Stewart wasn’t trying to cover up being the mastermind in a scheme to collude with the intelligence agencies of a rival government during a US presidential election for the purpose of letting that government have a seat at the table based on the outcome.
