Trump expected to grant clemency to disgraced ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich: reports

Why is it 'reprehensible?' Oh thats right, its Trump  You guys dont think any deeper than that.
Blago has served 7 years. Does the guy need to die in prison before you hateful libs are happy?

Own the libs by freeing guy we said was emblematic of corruption in the Illinois Democratic Party 10 years ago?

Those indicate some thought and consideration, especially the latter.

How much thought did you consider when you changed the post of mine you quoted?

No, I haven't. And I doubt I would, because nothing in Obama's tenure showed a predilection to corruption. My main recollection of Obama's pardons was that he commuted a bunch of non- violent drug offenders and people who had contributed to society from or after prison.

But, now that you ask: List of people granted executive clemency by Barack Obama (Wikipedia). The main patterns I see comport with my recollection, and all, it appears, went through Justice's pardon office to be vetted.

I suggest you examine the list of pardons and acts of clemency given by Obama. Obama pardoned many because the crimes were 'non-violent.' Mebe Trump gave Blago clemency because his crime was non-violent?

Show a modicum amount of consistency when issuing sentences (or when prosecuting) is what Trump is trying to emphasize with the Blago clemency.

Side note: The suggested Stone sentence by prosecutors for the DOJ is another example of sentence inconsistencies.

Obama's theme was "non-violent low-level drug offenses with absurd sentences."

Trump's is "rich white guys with major corruption or financial crimes."

Of course there's also "family member of someone who donates hundreds of thousands to the Trump campaign." That's a good pick.

Pay to play is alive and well in this administration. Pardons are sold for donations.

Peltz made his money with Milken and raised $10 million for Trump’s re-election. So, naturally Milken gets a pardon.

They don’t even try to hide their corruption.
There's a lot more corruption than that which has been going on, ever since that 'stimulus' package and Obama getting involved in private industry. Barack and Michelle Obama Reportedly Close Deal for $11.75 Million Martha’s Vineyard Estate - Mansion Global

Do you think you could go for one single 24 hour period all in a row without talking about Obama? I'm honestly curious.
So Barry H. Obama is now the new name that dare not be mentioned. Hate to be reminded, huh?

Me? Not at all. I have a tattoo of Obama on my cheek so no one who sees me can stop thinking about him. However, I, unlike you, am able to talk about something else from time to time.

I can understand why you'd be sensitive about discussing Obama.

No no. Let's not pretend like we're four years old and make up silly stuff because we haven't got anything intelligent or meaningful to say. I'm not sensitive about Obama. He was president FOUR YEARS AGO. In fact, if you like, I'll go make a thread about Obama and invite you into it. We can talk about him for days in a place where he's relevant. Instead, you and some other people brainlessly mutter about him constantly in every single conversation to this very day.

Maybe because he's responsible for most of this divide now?

I know. **** him, right? I wish Obama wasn't so powerful and crafty that people would blame their miserable lives and disgusting behavior on him years after he left office and years after he exercised his unstoppable political influence. I wish he wouldn't give ****ty people the excuse they need to be ****ty people by being a man who can be admired and respected and believed and who is able to form a sentence in English.

Just the mention of Obama's name seems to have a negative effect. Sure he was a terrible President who mysteriously managed to strike it rich but it's time to let it go..

And do you know who he sold his too? State Dept. spends $70K on Obama books - Washington Times

Obama's stimulus package cost $787 billion, there were no 'shovel ready' jobs and there has never been a proper accounting. Check out Solyndra also

People who dont think the government tracks where money goes that it has budgeted for specific purposes are generally completely clueless about most things in life.

That’s why the Washington Times exists. To service that niche of cluelessness.

A negative effect on whom? You should talk to whomever you're talking about because you typing words at me is a waste of both our time.

Trump pardoned Blago so the jail will have room for Martin Sandoval and Luis Arroyo

So the Obama Administration, nor anyone else, had no idea where the billions in 'Stimulus' money went. That's what I was saying, and likely one of the reasons why the Obama's can afford a $12 million property.

I think you're only half right. You'll find that, in addition to the Washington Times, he's an original subscriber to "Conspiracy Times", an outlet for dissemination of Russian disinformation and other whacko posts.
