Are companies like Amazon not polluting? I think it's good they put money back into the economy.

They don't have a right to polute and should be taken to task for doing so. Neither do you or I.

He is being paid. He donates the money . Hell, his benefits will far outweigh a yearly salary anyway.

Frankly it would be nice if the charities run in his name actually give the money to the intended recipient.

20 years ago I'd give you a pass, as I'd give someone a pass in the '50s who said smoking doesn't cause cancer. But it's 2020. Smoke is harmful. Whether taken directly from a cigarette or in the form of greenhouse gas.

Trump is a BS artist, I know what he said, I also know Trump because at the end of the day he is the most honest guy to come down the Pike in a long while.

We Americans like the show, so Trump gives us a show, we dont call it a lie any more than we would call a magic act a lie, though on some levels it of course is.

Agreed, and this is the problem. I like my shows on TV. That's why I spent thousands on a home theater. I don't like the government to be a show. I expect that to be sober. Unfortunately, Trump (and to a lesser extent, Obama and Reagan) has taken advantage of people who are emotionally ripe for the picking. Sanders is doing the same thing, and he's leading so far among the dems.

I watched a Joe Biden interview today. Joe has never been a charismatic public speaker, but when he speaks, he oozes authenticity. He fumbles his words sometimes, but the words he speaks are real. They come from his mind and heart alone. Amy Klobuchar has the same authentic, sane appeal. It is this type of leader I want to see in government. I don't want the government to be the show. If I desire something along those lines, I'll reread 1984 while simultaneously rerunning The Hunger Games.

I can demonstrate he is costing us far more than a normal President, and likely earning more by skimming. All the President's Profiting (Open Secrets). But I KNOW you can't prove YOUR fantasy claim. Trump makes money off the government staying at his resorts and hotels. And Bezos doesn't have to be a scientist, he only needs to listen to them.
