Trump is a stable genius. More like a really bad B movie, dubbed in a language that, while it uses (mostly) English words, the grammar, syntax and excessive use of sign language, does not lend itself to translation in any meaningful way.

These prosecutors are just normal people, who happen to be trained in the law, and happened to do the job of a prosecutor for the federal government.

There is nothing strange, evil, or nefarious about these folks.

What do you mean by Deep State?

Do you not want there to be a DOJ?

Do you just want prosecutors, but only prosecutors who won't prosecute Trump and his political allies?
 
The “deep state” is democratic norms and the rule of law. It’s unsurprising that trump consistently finds himself at odds with both of these things.

The Stone case is outrageous from top to bottom and democrats should be ashamed for themselves for taking him away from his family.

Make no mistake, this is a political statement more than anything else. If you support Trump, we will find you and we will impose the maximum sentance of 9 years.

Like I said, the democrats should be ashamed of themselves.

But, since ALL democrats lack a moral compass, they feel no shame.

This is the ugly truth.

And the uglier truth is that Trump supporters agree and are in lock-step with the idea that Trump should be allowed to engage in corrupt acts so long as it furthers their political goals.

This is authoritarianism.

A jury found Stone guilty, not Democrats.

And a grand jury likely was involved in deciding McCabe should not be prosecuted.

But, since ALL democrats lack a moral compass, they feel no shame.

I felt shame at being part of a party that no longer believed in the Rule of Law and thought white people were better than other people.

Those are the primary reasons I left the Republican Party.

But you see this stubborn refusal to come to terms with reality, the reality of the creeping authoritarianism of the GOP, has forced people like me to perceive the Republican Party to be an actual threat to the Republic. The more the GOP pushes this notion that Trump should be allowed to engage in corrupt acts, the more independents and moderates will stop supporting the GOP.

Conservatives and libertarians who support Trump are fakes. The only thing they are interested in conserving is their own power and the warm comfort of their grievances.

You look at the facts, listen to the experts, and make your decision.

The democrats know they need to take Trump out before the next election. Because they know he is going to win again in 2020 and their plans to destroy america will be finished, and they will all be exposed as frauds (that they are).

That's why they are so desperate to take him down. And make no mistake, they will take him out before the end of his first term. CNN will play a role. As well as the lawyer for the whistleblower, Mark. S. Zaid.

As others have said, that’s not the point. It’s about letting people know that what’s happening now isn’t normal or acceptable. It’s about standing up and not resigning yourself to some notion that nothing matters anymore.

Who elected AG Barr? No one, he was appointed. Who elected President Donald Trump, the Electoral College after his opponent got 2.7 million more votes. So one is not an elected figure while the other is only debatably so, on a technicality. These former prosecutors are not part of the deep state. They are former members of one of the institutions which keep the Rule of Law and peaceful transitions of power through democracy going without having blood in the streets. These people and millions others like them are the keel which keeps the ship of state righted while Mr. Trump and his opportunistic toadies try to capsize it for their own greedy and authoritarian reasons.

There is a deep state in America but it doesn't give a rat's arse about about Roger Stone or even Donald Trump. It cares about transferring as much public money as possible to private hands and not a lot else.
