Sanders supporters attacking union over health care criticism

Nevada's Culinary Union accused supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) of launching vicious attacks, intensifying a feud over health care between a leading Democratic presidential candidate and an influential player in the Nevada caucuses.

"It’s disappointing that Senator Sanders’ supporters have viciously attacked the Culinary Union and working families in Nevada simply because our union has provided facts on what certain healthcare proposals might do to take away the system of care we have built over 8 decades," the union said in a statement.

The Democratic Party became the worst enemy trade unions had in their support of mass illegal immigrants (also called "scabs" in a strike) and opposition to tariffs to protect American jobs a long time ago. This is why I first abandoned the Democratic Party back when I was a packinghouse union steward.
 
Dumb and dishonest attack from the culinary union.

Medicare-for-all would replace the current healthcare plan the union workers have. No culinary union worker loses healthcare under Sanders plan.

Their flyer didn't say that members lose health care, it says they lose the plan they have.

The democratic platform makes unions obsolete. Of course they will push back. They are not going to give up a bargaining chip with employers.

"Require" makes it sound so off putting.

Would be nice though if they made sure the voters knew that under the moderates plans people remain uninsured and die from preventable disease. Did they make sure all NV voters understood that the moderates plans caused people to die from preventable disease?

I'm not pro-Republican. Companies hire them. It has nothing to do with partisan politics. Rather, it was the Democratic Party dropping "buy American" to "free trade," from opposing illegal immigration to now wanting to decriminalize it - meaning every poor person on earth can come here - and then demanding we pay for healthcare for everyone on earth you can afford an airline ticket or any other way get across the border.

In addition, the Democratic Party corrupted union leadership who came to fly around in their own private jets and saw being a union boss not about the members, but about liberal social policies and hanging around with rich Democrats in DC.

And what did Bernie do? He came out with a statement saying he supported the culinary unions fight for their excellent health care and wanted to make that the goal for every American. Of course he ignored that the culinary union will loose what it has in favor of government control.

Yes, but you wouldn't need a union healthcare plan anymore. It's like saying Sanders is going to replace your old dishwasher with a new one that is better and more efficient and then get concern trolled about people preferring their old dishwasher. At the end of the day what matters to people is the dishes are clean.

Those are disadvantages of the moderate plan. Why didn't the chart educate the people on the pitfalls of choosing a moderate candidate? They never miss an opportunity to point out Sanders flaws.
