Prosecutor withdraws from Roger Stone case

You were awfully quiet when Kim Foxx stepped in for Jussie.

Barr has every right to do this. And this is the right thing to do.

Holder woefully abused his power for Obama. That needs to get investigated thoroughly.

A. Irrelevant.
B. No, he doesn't, and no, it's not.
C. No, he didn't, nor can you demonstrate that he did.

I'm simply not interested in frothy RW fantasies.

Barr used to be one of the most stand up people. When he was being confirmed I disagreed with the LWers complaining about him. I said don't worry, he's a good guy, he'll do the right thing.....then he started doing Trump's dirty work for him. I was truly saddened to see him do this and it was common among people who thought like me to wonder "What the heck does Trump have on him? Why would he do this???"

In Barr, Trump has found his champion and advocate
President Donald Trump could only be delighted to have his attorney general in El Salvador, dealing with his biggest issue: illegal immigration. Yet Barr did even better for his boss. In interviews from the Central American country, he’s been offering cryptic comments suggesting the Russia probe unfairly targeted Trump.

More and more, Barr’s becoming Trump’s favorite lawyer. He’s not only enthusiastically embracing Trump’s political agenda, he’s also gone all-in by casting special counsel Robert Mueller’s report as vindication for Trump and hinting that the real wrongdoing was committed by those who launched the investigation.....

Of course Deep State and the rest of the FAILED INTELLIGENTSIA is going at him hard, he does not properly hate Trump, because he is too good of a guy to do that without cause, just because he is told to do it.

There is no such thing as the "Deep State" just like there is no such thing as "White Privilege", but people are free to believe whatever conspiracy theories they like.

Roger Stone is no "good guy".

It has nothing to do with make believe. Avoiding appearances of conflicts is just as important as avoiding conflicts themselves. Not sure where the difficulty is in understanding that.
Bs. It has everything to do with make believe.
There is no appearance of conflict here. Thinking so is making things up to believe.

You’re either being purposely obtuse, or you’re literally making it up as you go.
You are clearly projecting.

Trump Tweets about the case and the same day Barr directly intervenes in an unprecedented move by the DOJ. Yes, that is appearance of conflict.

Only in the heads of those who engage in make believe.

The sentencing decision is wrong and politically motivated. If Roger Stone was a Democrat he would’ve had consular immunity. It’s actually time to start Pardoning and also firing prosecutors for their clear bias.

Consular immunity? What are you talking about?

As for the "politically motivated" garbage, feel free to prove it.

What a staggeringly cogent argument. I'm oh so impressed.
:lamo
iLOL It has far more substance to it than your false claim to which it was made in reply.

This is good news. Stay tuned. Maybe more deranged democrat inquisitors will resign also. BTW, is Stone appealing his conviction to a higher court with new Trump-appointed judges? We can certainly hope for the best.

You have no idea what is going on. In no fashion is this good for America.

'...a republic ma'am, if you can keep it...'

Modern leftist democrats are finding out more and more that Trump does not play by their corrupt rules. He is in charge. It is his job to set the rules for them, not their job to set the rules for him.

you are completely over the edge, what do you think a president's limits are?

Trump says "jump" and his supporters ask "how high?"

Who gives a crap how long this convicted felon goes to prison? He's been convicted of multiple felonies in a court of law. He can rot in prison for all I care. Trump supporters are degrading themselves by aping Trump's self-serving howling and their buying into these crazy conspiracy theories. They have lost all sense of dignity.

Remember when the right lost it over the Bill Clinton tarmac scandal?

Yes, and rightfully so. It was very inappropriate and, IMO, is why Hillary wasn't even given a slap on the wrist for her crimes. What was inappropriate then is inappropriate now.

It just proves that Trump is as corrupt as he's always claimed the Clintons to be.
