Trump supporters will insist that the judge just changed his mind. Trump threatened this on twitter, you know shady people like Lev and Igor were targeting the judge and anyone involved w/Roger Stone's trial. These people aren't just scared of tweets...

In normal times, it would be shocking that the Justice Dept under the rule of William Barr would conflict with his own justice dept. But here we are. Federal prosecutors that actually prosecuted Stone's case recommend 7-10 year sentence. But their boss Bill Barr, is going against his own justice department by
stepping in to change the sentencing recommendation and scale it back.

Whatever the sentence for Roger Stone is, whether it's a month or 10 years, he'll be off the hook and flashing the Nixon arms-up victorious sign before that day is finished. He'll get a pardon immediately by Trump.

The corruption is right out in the open.
 
DOJ can make any recommendation it wants to. The Judge will decide Roger Stone’s sentence.
 
He'll be pinning a medal on him before long.

He’s reducing the DOJ’s sentencing recommendation. The Judge will decide what Stone’s sentence actually is on the 20th.

The concern is twofold. First that this essentially proves that the DOJ has been completely and utterly corrupted. Second that this is a tee up for a pardon.

This is completely indefensible but I'm sure the MAGA crowd doesn't care.

People shouldn’t spend time caring about things they can’t change. The President can pardon whomever he wants for whatever reason he wants.

Does he live on an island? Because if he lives on an island the amphibious part makes a big difference.

Also it was 6am. And they knocked. Nobody got "jerked out of bed." I didn't see an "amphibious armored vehicle" on the video. I saw... pickup trucks. Can you show me the armored vehicle?

Nothing uncommon about the FBI's tactics on that arrest. I'm sure you don't have any problems with use of force on anyone not a friend of Trumps, right?
